There are people in this game who quite literally do nothing in this game, almost each and every game, for thousands and thousands of games and some how 'have fun'.

I actually really like this tank. It's fun and unique and not overpowered. What a premium tank should be like
two shotting a tier 9 in 3.75 seconds is pretty overpowered

Prem tank is maded for fun and Money too old American T34 HT is best example.
The key is "if things go well". And that rarely happens in OTL. So, this tank is rarely playable.

And don't forget the full bond equipment and food.......

Note folks he is using a really good crew, premium consumables and the best equipment. Just keep that in mind. Personally, I think the H.E. rework killed this before it was even released.
That bounce on the AMX in the first game proved why the HE changes were more harmful than good

Hey Skill, i recommend you use Turbo with field mod, it helps you close in to the enemy side or back instead of aiming then you can unload double shot and run away
Not to mention this tank has really good acceleration so you will easily get to top speed
No better impriove gun accuarci and aim time if you aim whole day enemy wreck you.

@@durachoks Then use Improved/Bounty one also you can mount better optics to improve accuraci instead of vent 0.3 is good and you can use Vertical stab too,most of shots are probablly not fully aimed anyway.
Turbo not give you any gun advantage at all more like making snap shots harder with more speed and realize 50 seconds reload,you really need pen all shots/trade dmg.
@@joe125ful I already used stats for bond vents, vents are irrelevant in current meta anyway, useless piece of equipment.
I was using aiming unit, stabs, irm, like you said, tried to max out gun, but then tried using turbo instead of irm and turbo is actually better, at least for me, this tank is not about gun, you just have to play very close range, do a lot of flanking, and turbo helps to do that the best
This tank NEEDS a turbo. It goes from being one of the slowest tier 8 heavies to one of the quickest due to the good power to weight. Makes setting up shots so much easier and the tank so much more flexible. Much more of a impact that vents has. Can flex around like a fat borat for side shots. Just gota not shoot 2nd shot unless its a sure thing and you have the ability to fall back. At end game just taking a hit and using its good power to weight with 38km top speed to get behind tanks to hit them for 1700 is just dumb.
Nah, it needs gun handling and accuracy, absolutely. It’s pointless to go faster if you’re missing more shots.
@@Watykaniak +5km actually with field mods. 33km is slower than most heavies, 38km along with the power to weight to not lose speed up hill means you get to position faster than most of them and can outmaneuver most of them mid and late game. Watch how most streamers play it. Its a opportunistic ambusher / support. Mobility is key. Especially with such a long downtime.
@@shmekelfreckles8157 Vents does almost nothing to aid this, compared to turbo that lets you act somewhat like a borruasque and find flanking opportunities. Vertstabs + aiming device + turbo is the way to go on this. Also the difference in he ability to get around enemies to their sides / rears in end game is massive. If your sniping in this tank then your doing it wrong.
Let's look at it this way: the turbo is a 12% increase to top speed, a 17% increase to reverse speed, it takes power to weight to nearly 20 and it also increases traverse speed.
The question is whether all of this is worth sacrificing one of the other must have pieces of equipment?

With AP it has sense , you have a huge dmg to modules , you have huge pen and caliber , if there is 8 tier e75 you can pen upper plate something like this or is6 whatever
I fell in love with this tank from the first moment. The only sad thig is the last HE rework.. without that it could be more fun. I played already like 100 games with Caliban with avg of 2100..which is not very good but that gun is just MEME by it self. I never viped out more mole's than woth this tank.... even with fully aimed gun you have no guarance that shell will go in the circle
I think the 180 HE pen has more than made up for the HE "rebalance". However, it doesn't affect hull down monsters which in Wargaming's infinite wisdom is exactly what they were aiming for (pun intended). I just wished they'd had Caliban RNG.

I think he was just a bit quick to judge in his first video. He got really really bad maps for this tank and wasn't quite playing with it correctly then. This tanks existence survives on the dopamine rush from double pens and he just wasn't getting anything good in those first few matches.

You can actually climb on the pile of rubble but from the other side, it's extremely easy and you need to get on the flat bit right on top of the pile. You can shoot down into the market and even into those in cover behind the building, took that position in a Kran once and it is terrifying, they really should fix that, not gonna lie. And yeah, Caliban is FUN when it works :)) Thanks for the games!

I think you are correct about this tank. Most games with this one I am pulling out my hair but every once in a while I have tears in my eyes from laughing so much from hitting everything. I got the Caliban in one of my Christmas boxes but I would never have bought one. Thanks for your videos...keep up the great work!
Allways a pleasure to see you vids, despite you can win the fIrst game, i think this tank comes with 25 Shells, it should give us "the tip" on how to use the Caliban: Hyper-wise with the Shells gestion, focusing on keeping one shell in the amno bay (if possible): Your test to hit the arty with the "HE shell drop tech" with your 2 Shells makes you loose the game:
because just after, even if you low roll against the T 56 with your first shell, you had the second shell to finish him instead of going back and loosing 442 hp (from the T56), and then loosing 531 hp from the Amx 13 57, to be @83 HP and "one-shotable" by him instead of having 1056 HP.
The Caliban is a mindchanger, I came here just for your opinion on the tank and out of curiosity. Post my first two games in this vehicle I didn't understand how to play it but now I am 60 matches in and I love this tank, super fun super troll. Btw I prefer tier 9 matches and not tier 6 matches in this tank, you can penetrate most vehicles in the side or front even at tier 9 and it's more satisfying to clip Conway for 1500 or Obj 257 than to shoot at tier 6s. Another point I noticed high tiers want to rush you, when you play in a platoon this allows one person to get around the back and for example penetrate an IS-4 in the back twice and win the 2 on 1 duel.
What i noticed during the last 2 days: the battles last longer... Maybe because more lootbox heavies are present.

2nd battle Skill hit the bottom part of the turret ring bulge of AE Phase 1 it has more than 180mm effective armor so no penetration.

16:55 And thats why Im going full gold with Caliban. If you had APs loaded, you would have smacked the doomturtle for 1200hp. Right now I have just slightly under 2000 average damage, and I have NEVER used food in my Caliban (Im grinding credits with it).
i would have like to see the feature of the italian heavy tanks with reduced penalty of firing early, in this config as the tank is now it would work better as a true autoloader with 35-40 ish second reload
If someone want to hit 800 damage per one shot, they canuse obj 703 and shoot salvo everytime. Or Skoda like you said
I got this tank and it is a ton of fun! I really enjoy it, but I do agree with you in that it is not that competitive.

I am personally a huge fan of derp guns in this game on any platform (light, med, hev, etc). I wanted to get this tank over the holidays and spent a fair amount on boxes. I got all the other tanks instead lol. Looks like a fun tonk to pew with sadly.
A pack of crisps is good in the Uk. A bag of chips (French fries in USA) is chunks potatoe sticks fried in oil or lard.

I got a caliban last night and took it out for a spin. Its not a tank for everyone but man its funny to use esp when you high roll and delete a tank. Its not my style of play but its nice to change it up sometimes and have some toxic fun.
Played with my clan mates and they had 2 calibans. Oh my god you can't even believe the havoc they created. Best thing is the overmatching heavy tanks xD!

I have both and I easily prefer caliban only because I won't go broke after couple of missed shots. Shitbarn is imo unplayable/not fun without gold ammo but it's so goddamn pricy
Wish WG would give HE some tweeks to where somehow you shoot a Super Hellcat you dont get Screen not penned and deal 0 dmg. Give it increased module and crew dmg due to spralling.

They lowered the alpha damage of HE shells on Type 4/5 cause people were crying they got one-shot and they release a tank that can do even more damage albeit in 3.75s and they slapped it on a tank that can play against tier VI tanks.
The best replay I've seen so far had the player hit 13/13 shots and do 8400 damage.

Skill you can kill the scorpion with the skoda with 2 shots for example and much easier
One tip: you ABSOLUTELY need intuition in this tank. With it, you can change your entire clip in ~29 seconds, which can be essential, as although I think AP is the better overall ammo choice, sometimes the HE is essential.

i played 100 battles n i like it, like small trashbarn with autoloader, yeh shell speed is very bad but somehow i hit more snapshots with it than full aimed shots with tornvagn...
Would you consider chaning the Tornvagn rating aswell? I've having a good time with it, I run it with Rammer + Turbo + Vstabs / irm and It's not nearly as bad as everyone says, there's way slower tanks that are rated good, like the Lowe and the accuracy is not that terrible if you are upclose and even if you miss, you won't get penned either. I'm not saying it should be epic, but I think it is NOT a bad tank. I'd put it on playable at the very least, if not good.

I like this tank in tier 10 too. The ap pen more than enough. I focus on the better tier 10 tanks and give them around 1300hp- without problem. If we think about it the is7 and the kranvagon have nearly the same pen with gold. If the enemy make a mistake you peak out and give him 2 presents. You go back and reload and next time give him 2 more presents and you are around 2600dmg. I did it yesterday with a unicum chiftain and he went back to the garage. This tank can be op.

Even on the receiving end of this tank’s 900+ alpha penetrating shot you get a sense of amazement and excitement lol.
If i go to the heavy front i use only 1 shoot and not the second one. peak when they have shot. And i have minimised the rectangle as much as it's possible. I do not snipe from far a way. It's a waste of time.

This was the tank that I got in my Loot Boxes and I was honestly pretty happy. Not my the best in my opinion, but not the worst either. Its a bit slow, but not worth a turbo. Its a meme tank that is fun to play, and I understand that I'm not carrying in. Nonetheless its hilarious to play when it goes right, and I don't get upset when it goes poorly. I don't typically go fight the heavies in it, especially not Tier X.
I bought 50 boxes to get one tank and I got this. I actually love it because I laugh so much. I once out clipped Vz 55 and that is the biggest highlight. To take this tank from playable to epic is just the right mindset XD

This tank has to be THE most extreme definition of a hit or miss/go big or go home tank.
Go back and check out the T-43 again. You got it rated as playable but I think it deserves a higher rating. Maybe a new video for the extra channel!
Those tasty pens on skorp. Caliban's HE is tasty but personally I prefer the Centurion 7/1's HESH. Give Caliban HESH or HEP shells and it will be utter nightmare

In order to play with a Škoda T56, I need to have on in thr first place. But destiny chose to reward me with the Pornvagn, the Taliban and the 122 instead.

I just play very aggressive and with full ap it's a little broken in my opinion hit is almost guaranteed pen
some times its fun some times its shit. i had a game with 7k dmg in a loss mostly shooting ap with that was fun :D but also had some games with 0 or 125 dmg that is not fun. curently averiging 1.6k
I've played it twice, 50% wr, 1616 averaged damage between the two games. I love good gun handling and hate seeing my WIN8 dropping so it mostly frustrates me.
If you're worrying about your wn8 so much that you can't bear to play a fun but uncompetitive tank you're playing wrong my friend, it's a game, let loose and have some fun 😁 you'll find you do far better when you actually do try, different tanks give different experiences thus more ways of doing thing. Have fun my friend!
@@lbhammers4841 You are right. I just have an unhealthy compulsion to do well in this game. If I don't finish a match as one of the top 3 players it bugs me, sort of feels like I let the team down by taking the place of a better tank.

I like it. Yeah its derpy and trollish, but after "loosing" my kv2 after they nerfed the living hell out of HE, this thing is my new kv2. If you meet heavy tanks with lots of armour u simply load gold and u have good pen and STILL a respectable damage. You just need to have mapawareness (when to have one or the other loaded and where to go to, so you dont sit too far away and shoot)
