I just gotta say I really love the dynamic of Goku having Broly as a brother. In the Broly movie he grew up with no choice but to become a fighting tyrant. Him being on earth with Goku is makes me happy for him because he got the one family he never had (discount Paragus)
Honestly I would’ve loved if broly became a main character like vegeta or piccolo (basically a character that gets power boosts but is essentially useless) to see other forms of the legendary super saiyan

I really had no problem with this What-If story. Everything was really well made and thought out. There was only one major gripe I had with this story. That being Broly being able to teach Goku and Vegeta how to use Ikari. I really think giving them that option makes Broly seem less like the Legendary Super Saiyan, making his powerup more of a generic one than something unique to him.
Agree. Broly is a unique mutant among them so only he has Ikari. Goku can just use Kaioken X20 to finish off Frieza with ease.

Agreed,It makes Broly more of the Special Saiyan he is + I Think it would be imposible for other saiyans to simply learn how to use this,As far as we know,Not even Paragus (Who "trained" Broly for 48 Years or a little less) Knew how to use this power.
Broly is the only sayian that has shown to use that form but it has been stated that in the groups that would get sent out to take over planets the commander a lot of times would have the ikari state because it gave them the power of the ape but they keep their minds so they’re able to focus their troops better. I do feel like it is possible to learn that form and vegeta was almost there anyways being able to control his full ape form. For my source it was an interview that toryama did after the broly movie explaining this form specially

Broly vs. Berrus would be a sick fight to be animated, especially the rage scene beforehand.
The fact that child Broly has a power level of 10 000 is crazy because that means in his oozaru from his power level is 100 000.
That's non canon Broly's power level as a newborn. DBS canonized Broly likely as a toddler when he was scanned in the scouter was 920. And he transformed into an Oozaru before Paragus/Beats found him, being at a power level of 9200. Which was still under the aforementioned non canon predecessor as a newborn.

I can just imagine every time a Future Trunks time travels to the past, a new time line and new alternate Goku is created to confuse Trunks. There’s already Broly-Goku in one timeline, a Vegeta-Goku and Raditz-Goku in others, sometimes even a Girl Goku is made the mother of another Future Trunks while the father remains Vegeta. 💁🏼♀️

I would agree but once Carth stacked Ssj on top of ult gohan power he fucked up the story.
Imagine if Broly didn't hit his head in the story. The floor would be mopped in every fight all the way to Frieza.
Even further since Ikari Broly is post TOP Blue Goku, and we know Blue Goku in R.O.F would body anyone in Z. Beerus would be the first struggle for Broly, and then it would be a wash until Merged Zamasu, or depending on Black’s zenkais could be Goku Black.
The only problem would be Broly can’t control his power. This wouldn’t change anything until Buuhan since SSJ Vegeta post TOP was comparable with Base Broly. Once Broly enters Ikari form he losses control, and no one can stop him. Broly would then start attacking anyone he sees killing Buuhan, Vegito (Goku would tell Vegeta they need to fuse in order to knock out Broly, it won’t work). After Vegito the planet would likely be destroyed by Broly’s rage and lack of control.

I love that Broly and Goku are so close, really wholesome. I also really liked Vegeta and Goku learning the Hikari from broly, and LOVED that the Hikari+Kaioken can rival the first super form
Ikari boost is a 10x multiplier by default so a Kaioken x5 would only be needed for essentially a super Saiyan transformation.

Warth state won't do any good for elite or regular saiyans bro, broly base state simply over power SSJ3 so his wrath state helps to multiply dramatically without ki depleting like Regular SSJ transformation. This why goku mentioned broly holding on his base is awesome. That's the main reason they train under base form but get optimised in transformation.

This version of Cell should realistically be barely stronger or at least as strong as Super Perfect Cell in canon. And so Goten (Broly) shouldn't have any trouble battling Dabura who's weaker than Super Perfect Cell. But stronger or at least on the same power as Perfect Cell. Regardless, amazing what if as always Carthu. Hope you do more in the foreseeable future. As well as finishing some since you're not doing parts anymore like "Gohan being more like Goku" & "Gohan killed Super Buu".

I mean... all of this adds up and makes for a great story... aside from one major detail. Bulma is an absolute horn dog and would ABSOLUTELY have gone for Broly the moment she met him. He is her age after all. This means Yamcha and Bulma probably would never happen, and more importantly, Vegeta and Bulma would not have happened. This means no Trunks, and potentially a Vegeta with less cause to be a hero. I cant imagine a world in which teenage Bulma doesn't snatch up Broly immediately and Broly is to docile and passive to resist it. Meanwhile a young Goku is forced to third wheel for them all throughout DragonBall.
I feel like Broly wouldn't be too interested in Bulma and even if they did get together, it wouldn't work out in the long term. Broly is the silent and solitary type, while Bulma likes bad boys.
EXACTLY LMAO I was thinking about this, like Bulma would definitely want to hook up with Broly. And Broly would definitely be with her too, since he would be her age and most likely his hormones would be crazy, specially since he is a saiyan and saiyan like strong women, according to Vegeta of course lol.
Trunks would still exist, its just his father is Broly instead of Vegeta, and Trunks being potentially more powerful.
This should have been included. But I knew he just wanted to follow the same trend of these what ifs. The stories stay the same with slight variations. I think Vegeta woukd definitely stay evil, unless he hooks up with Launch, ala Raditz in MasakoX's what ifs. But still, I think with Broly around, Vegeta gets killed in the saiyan arc.
A what if Broly and Goku went to Earth, woukd changr the story of Dragonball COMPLETELY.
Bulma x Broly being one of the major differences. Trunks being Gohan's age (or older), and well, without nerfing Broly with a headbump, most if the major villains being defeated by Broly, and Goku being the 2nd fiddle.
@@xxProjectJxx It would work since the inly reason Broly is quiet and shy is because he was raised in sokidary with his fsther on a remote planet. This Broly woukd be kinda like Goku, with a slight meaner attitude because of his father's genes.

And still, Bulma even talked about why didnt she ever gave Goku a chance when she was stranded on Namek. Granted that was anime filler, but it leaves room for Bulma to just probably not being a h*rlot, and actually liking good guys too.

I'm just imagining how early Dragon Ball would've gone with a teenage Broly being around the boy-crazy, teenage Bulma. I doubt she'd even notice poor Yamcha with a buff, soft-spoken, young man like him around. R.I.P.
Also, I adore the idea of Broly coming out of his Legendary Super Saiyan state by seeing the humans of Trunk's Future come back. I can almost picture him breaking down into tears of joy after it.

TitanicTNT I mean it still left him at power level 920 as a really young kid, so if he got a boost from somebody Eliot he Elder Namekian, or after many zenkai boosts, Broly would most likely unlock his enraged forms, but they would be more contained and not at berserk as Broly has trained more.
Broly can never reach Ultra Instinct, his power is just too high to keep controlled. If he did do it, it would be for a split second. Plus the head bump nerf kind if makes that impossible too.

Just a little note, Kaio-Ken needs a calm state of mind along with a good ki control, as mentioned in the Otherworld Tournament by Goku that using Kaio-Ken in a stressful state is lethal for the body, and I do not know if Ikari generates that stress on the body, but if it does, the combination of Ikari and even x2 Kaioken could wreck Broly after at most holding out for a few tens of seconds.
given the amount of punishment the dude can take in just the normal timeline he should be able to tank anything in this one.
i think the idea is that he’s learned to be calm and control ikari because in the real cannon he only used ikari once in the movie and in this he has been mastering it sense the saiyan saga so i think along the way he learned how to control his anger in his ikari form

Regardless, if I remember correctly, Goku could go Kaio-ken 20x in the original frieza Saga, which would give him the same power output in this what if with possibly the same drawbacks, maybe even less. Either way, I feel like it would be rather similar.

I think gohan would’ve been much stronger with goku and broly living next to each other, gohan would be raised in a completely different environment. One where he would constantly watch his dad and his favorite uncle train and there’s no way it wouldn’t awaken something in the young half saiyan. even chichi wouldn’t be able to stop him, remember in the original gohan never witnessed goku fight until raditz came and was raised more peacefully.
Hell gohan would have a pissed off broly on his side to fight against anybody that wanted to destroy earth if goku still died in the battle hell they may even fuse

ikari form is basically using your emotion to fuel your power/adrenaline, so I guess it's pretty easy to learn especially for the battle junky saiyan race.
