The Saiyans have been recalled to Planet Vegeta to be annihilated by Freeza, but Bardock can tell something isn’t right. After learning that Freeza is trying to gather information about the Super Saiyan he realizes that Freeza is going to destroy the planet and the Saiyan race along with it. There’s no time to waste, his mate Gine is a kind Saiyan and her kindness has rubbed off onto him. He has the urge to save a life - just this once. Bardock wants to save his infant son - Kakarot. After convincing Gine to send Kakarot away Bardock steals a ship and has to pick a world suitable for sending a low class warrior to. Together they look through the charted worlds and find one that is restricted, but also has no notable power signatures - only wildlife. Perhaps this world is one that Freeza has no interest in, making it the perfect place to send their child. With a solem goodbye and the hope in their hearts that they can retrieve him after the dust settles Kakarot is sent away, but Bardock and Gine were wrong.
While Freeza, King Cold, and even King Vegeta were aware of the God of Destruction Beerus and his world the low ranking Saiyans weren’t told of it. This world was restricted not out of lack of interest, but because it was owned by the most frightening being in the Universe - Beerus. As Kakarot’s pod flies through space towards Beerus’ world - the God of Destruction has received most interesting news from the Oracle Fish - a being that can foresee vague fortunes that will come true. The Oracle Fish told Beerus that his greatest rival - the Super Saiyan God - would appear in 39 years. Beerus is intrigued, but isn’t sure a Saiyan will be a worthy adversary - not to mention the fact that Beerus had already given Freeza permission to destroy Planet Vegeta and the Saiyan race already.

Kakarot reviving Beerus actually makes it all the more wholesome, I mean he already restored the whole universe which Beerus neglected to do such tasks, it's really obvious that Kakarot got all the shit done, but seeing Champa trying to avenge his brother, if I was in his place, I'd do that as well.
And not to mention if Tournament of Power was held during this what-if story, assuming Broly would be given training to be a Super Saiyan God, he'd wreck the tournament with no effort at all.
Even though Lord Kakarot was raised to be a ruthless and cold God of Destruction, he’s still respectful towards others and held compassion and mercy to the ones who are good at heart like Broly. Beerus may have rough exterior but he isn’t heartless.
Broly doesn’t even need god ki to be that powerful.

No I’m pretty sure ultra ego would be more terrifying, Broly can already take massive blows without really slowing down or being encumbered. This can be seen within the broly movie as he takes multiple hits from Blue Vegeta, Goku and Gogeta without really slowing down. If he had ultra ego all of that damage would go towards his strength. I wouldn’t be surprised that at that point he would be the strongest being in the universes bar the angels and Zeno’s for obvious reasons.
Remember: beerus is still technically a being from universe 7 just training with universe 6 saiyans. and now that he's a mortal if the tournament of power came along kakarot would most likely make beerus join the team

I love Vegeta getting honourable send-offs when he's not going to be part of the cast. A month straight of constant battle on a divine world, growing to doubtlessly be time and time again greater than Freeza, Cell, probably even Majin Buu, before being honourably dealt the fatal blow by the God of his people. After so much time fighting, it doesn't even need to be said that Vegeta intimately understands that Kakarot isn't some backwater Low-Class raised by weaklings, but rather the greatest Saiyan to ever live, raised by the gods themselves. For once, a story that kills Vegeta in a very satisfying way, without it coming across as "getting rid" of him. Awesome scene.

These have developed from What-if's to actual story telling that makes sense, is entertaining and adds new stuff from the movies and manga into the mix, i very much enjoy
I've listened to this what if a couple times and of course I absolutely love all of your what ifs, but two things stood out to me that were strange. When Whis and Kakarot teleport to Frieza's ship, Whis surely would have noticed Babidi's teleported flooring to the ship. While Whis likes to play around a little, it seems doubtful he would ignore something that could bring about Majin Boo.Though sidenote, maybe he didn't care because he knew Kakarot would have 0 problems with him, Boo could still have caused some destruction. And 2, Kakarot "Walking" out to space at the end is hilarious, as they are still inside the transport cube lol.

My god it’s incredible how good these what-ifs are, usually most fan-fiction vids on youtube are childish and simple takes that don’t actually make sense, but you know exactly who all these characters are and how to form them into The narratives for these new worlds you create, very good job!
I love this story. But watching it for the 4th or 5th time I can't help but think it would have been cool if Goku kept his tail. It wouldn't necessarily change much (except maybe SSJ4 for the prime form thing) but the tail is a cool design and adds different moves while fighting.

Yeah plus it would also serve as a weakness. If a Saiyan’s tail is grabbed they lose all motor function effectively paralysing them. I don’t think Whis would tolerate such a weakness if he could remove it.

This is one of the few "What Ifs" ive actually enjoyed
There is something cool in Goku/Whis relationship when Goku is God of Destruction.
Goku having a servant (who is also his mentor) gives a nice dynamic, because it is very unique to him. He can depend on Whis to aid him and get the job done, but he will never abuse it, preferring to take a personal approach to deal with problems.
This timelines Goku is smart. That is terrifying if you include his power.

The zenkai boosts during that month were likely pretty small, since Whis probably wasn't letting Kakarot or Vegeta get excruciatingly tired before healing them.
In his fight against Moro, Kakarot's strength was sapped to a point so low he couldn't even power up.

I’ve been seeing this story pop up on my feed for quite some time now and I always brushed it off, but OH MY GOD, I’ve really been missing out on this one. I LOVE Goku’s overall character in this.
Imagine wiping out a planet of "monkeys" only to see one years later as a destroyer.
Literally Friza's worst nightmare.
TBH it would be a trillion times worse than Friza's worst nightmare, as he probably wouldn't even think it was possible for a Saiyan to even reach a Kai's power level, and wouldn't even be able to comprehend the thought of a Saiyan ever being trained and fighting with a God, let alone defeating and becoming the God of Destruction.

@@m77mmdd19 his power level was like a 10. He wouldn't have trained to get stronger cause Saiyans don't really do that or at least to the extent that Goku did in DB. Roshi could've killed him as a child and Earth had people with Power Levels higher than Kid Goku without his Oozaru activating. If his Oozaru did activate then people would be hunting for a boy with a monkey tail during the day and try to kill him and they'd probably succeed. You can write the story with him surviving but consider everything Kid Goku went through in DB if he never trained he would have died

I'm perplexed as to how everyone has actually forgotten that Goku fell and basically wiped his memory when he first went to earth, so his intelligence was severly impacted

Whis could've sent Goku to different planets for multiple interesting journeys, so he'd have the opportunity to gain experience. But yeah, the thought of an intelligent Goku who has a clear end goal of becoming god of destruction is such a cool concept.

I like that Moro was sealed away. So often in any given story there's an ancient evil that's been unleashed and it's always destroyed or banished rather than just sealed away again.
