hey, I plan on doing this, do you have to disconnect the battery, also does it matter if you clip the wires closer to the terminal rather back up the harness. thanks.
The mystery module is a starter relay, you need this, otherwise your starter could engage while you are doing 70 miles if there is any ground in your wiring harness. Which is very possible. Spend the 60 bucks on a new one or tolerate the slow start. It’s worth the safety.
And I call bullshit on that because I know exactly what that bastard is. It's a tip over sensor that is designed to cut the voltage if it lays down. Sometimes it doesn't work again after that. Definitely safe to bypass.
I have a '97. I have had starting problems for 10 years. This solved the problem. Easy fix. Whoever figured this out, thanks!
Did it cause any other issues??
It's the tip over module. They go bad and it is completely safe to bypass them. That was my Son's major problem with his vz800
I’m trying to to replace the plug up top but it doesn’t tell me what wire to wire into what

I also threw out the mmm module, What a difference with no noticeable problems be cautious make sure you tape the two wires
Would I be able to get in contact with you ?
