Raiden's lighting in this game is the most satisfying in the franchise's history.
The sounds and it’s a lot more blue so yea it’s the best so far

Yeah he’s been good for awhile I played him in MKX and MK11 also a bit in Injustice 2. He wasn’t bad at 11 just not used by pros on a competitive level but more casually Raiden was one of the more fun characters. I played different than most Raiden players I would play neutral as that’s what 11 wanted you to do but I’m a rush down mix player so I had a lot more relentless pressure than other Raiden players I’ve seen.

@@derek8700 absolutely, I have played 99% Raiden since finishing the story lol. I’ve done the entirety of Invasions only using him. I’ve toyed with Rain in practice a tiny bit, but that’s it. Raiden is just too good and his inputs are now almost muscle memory so it’s difficult to want to play someone else
@@BuddyChy see, I’m in the exact same situation lol. I even found some victories in ranked. I’ve committed to this season being Raiden, then next possibly Smoke. His combos are insane. Shang Tsung is always so complex too, but he’s on the list.
I like the new voice actor but I still miss older Raiden
later on he’ll probably get an older Raiden skin with Richard Epcar’s voice like the Hanzo Scorpion skin in Invasions

Raiden will always be my favorite. Considering that the last two games people barely picked Raiden. It was either Efron Black, Sub Zero, Scorpion or Kitana of course. I was thrilled to watch this! OG Raiden is better than ever.
Really like Raidens animations but there seems to be to much lighting animation at the start of teleport and other special moves. Thanks for the content Destroyer. Raidens been my fav since the first MK, 1992.

He's a "martial artist" in all of the games. Difference is, his style is more "Northern Shaolin Kungfu" this time, whereas last time it was more Southern style Crane Kungfu.
