www.theroadshow.com We push BMW's M3, Mercedes' C63 AMG and Cadillac's ATS-V on street and track to see who builds the best premium compact sport sedan for the modern age.
you can get a slightly used ats-v for $40,000 and for literally under $1000 install a tune that takes it up to 600hp alone with nothing else. the caddy has forged internals and titanium rods, it can handle alot of power. super underrated car
These dudes acted like they were SCARED to state the obvious. What is it with these auto media guys? Are they afraid of not being invited to drive future German models if they tell the truth? For $71k it was a no brainer to pick the ATS-V as the winner. The M3 interior looks like it belongs in a $25k Mazda model. Also, the ATS-V has real carbon fiber trim, not imitation trim as the one guy suggested when he was bashing the ATS interior. The funny thing about criticizing the glossy trim in the ATS is that there is similar trim offered on the center console of the C class on some models- this test car just happened not to have it.
The carbon fiber in the Cadillac is real and I like the shiny black plastic. What I find weird is that the new C-Class uses it also on the console as well as the E-Class. Funny thing is they love it when the Germans use it. Oh and every metal in the Cadillac is real.....so why is it cheaper?
Considering price/value the Cadillac deserves the credit of being the best "Bang For The Buck" 15-20 grand less is definitely more persuasive to me, plus it's design is subtly aggressive!! Great job Cadillac!
This has to be the best car comparison on CZcams. I love all three of these sedans and as an ATS owner I'm glad to see that the ATS-V took home the trophy.
So I guess I'm the only one that noticed the ripples in the leather on the backseat of the Benz but Germans can't do nothing wrong tho. If the caddy had shown that kind of defect in it's interior it would be getting ripped to shreds.

That was a pointless drag race. Why not show the numbers instead of declaring the winners based on the drivers' reaction time being the determinant.
ATS was my pick.
I think it's cool as hell that Caddy has been able to do both very well, offer luxury and performance. Good for GM.
Finally, Real car enthusiasts vote the Cadillac ATS-V a winner. All it needs is a volume knob. Why didn't the Audi A4 show up to the party?
I'll take the Cadillac. Gloss plastics and all.
Cadillac reigns Supreme. Beating the Europeans at their own Game. How do you like them apples?
Fanboys are mad haha.
ATS V looks amazing..."Yeshua/Jesus is the way"
seeing the cadillac in person is way different than seeing it on video or photo. looks incredible in person

The ATS automatic would have smoked the MB
Check out all the revved up fanboys in the chat, damn. Someone get these people some ring cushions for the butt hurt they're feeling.
Today General Motors is run by engineers, unlike in the old days when it was run by bean counters!
ATS rulez! I own one and love it.
