Lowes is the bomb.I ordered a generac pressure washer on their website and it was delivered on my door stoop. When i received the package and opened the box the plastic handle on the pressure washer was cracked. I called Lowes return hot-line number and told them that the pressure washer was damaged during shipping and that I wanted to send it back. The said ok, I had two options, I could pack it back up and return it to them or that they could set-up a return with my local Lowes where I lived.I got the washer on sale for $279.The regular price $329. I decided to return it to my local Lowes store for a return. They didn't have that particular model washer in stock so the store manager ask me if i would take the washer plus a $70 return and I said sure.
Sir my 2023 version is slightly different from yours. Your trigger attachment is off to the side and mine is designed to sit on top of the control pipe.
Just purchased one of these. It's brand new, built this year 2021. I've noticed they changed the handle/throttle. Older models have it attached to the side of the pipe, this one mounts on the pipe itself. Unless I set it up wrong, there is no way for it to lock in place so it doesn't slide a little bit left or right when waving the pipe when in use. Does anyone else have this issue?
@@HandyGuy2016 the pipe piece is marked with the word "up" and there is no raised slot made for the control handle to slide onto for it to lock in place. It still has the twist bolt to tighten the control handle but it also includes 2 screws now to tighten them as well. I'll have to take pics and show you. And I might even go back to Lowes and look at the floor model and see if they have the new variation
They're designed to rotate, otherwise you'd hurt/sprain your wrists while aiming the nozzle. You move that tube around in every direction a lot more than you realize -- and your wrist just doesn't rotate enough to naturally accommodate. I thought it was "loose," too, but it's supposed to move.
I found the reason why... it was made this year so it’s a new thing. Two different styles of the 570BTS. I have the one with the UP tube that doesn’t swivel. The handle mount swivels instead. I actually kind of like the idea of it more because the last blower I had it leaked a lot of air from the swivel part of the tube. Basically if I want what you have I’d have to buy the swivel tube and the throttle mount for it. I don’t mind the style I have I guess... the power of this machine is amazing though. I almost broke a window by blowing leaves out of rocks
@@HandyGuy2016 because when I look them up on the Lowes website it says that they are no longer available, I mean idk if that means that you can only buy them in the store and not online or if it means that they no longer sell them
You must smile every time you open up your trailer. Clean, sharp, efficient setup. Brilliant job with that.
This guy spending all kinds of money this year! = im jealous. Have a great season!

Have it! Very powerful, put it in the pool and you got a big jacuzzi! Hairdryer on 200 m!
I have the HSQ 150 bt...love it....leaves run
Lowe's is an awesome place they give my grandfather 10% off his entire perches because it is a veteran.

Yes, I believe that changed in 21/22 year models.
What fuel do you recommend for it? Do you recommend buying the husqvarna premixed fuel or recommend making your own fuel?
The Husqvarna premix is going to be the best option. I mix my own fuel, but I also use about 2 gallons of mixed fuel a day.
I just got one today . But I’m having a problem with the trigger handle moving around . The black screws that it came with are to small .
Make sure you have the handle in the right spot. I thought the screws were too short, until I realized I was mounting it wrong.
@@HandyGuy2016 oh ok thanks

I need to check out a new one.

He correct, it’s designed to rotate.
just bought a 570BTS at Lowes... my throttle handle has a different mount style... the grip is on the top instead of the side. WTF i wanted this!
Really? Must be a new thing, I have not seen that style. You can order the style handle I have on Amazon.com for around $40 I think?
Husqvarna Assembly Lever Set $50.95, just looked it up.
That's on Amazon, might be able to find it cheaper though.

Mine is the same way. Top throttle. Great blower. Very powerful and the chest strap helps a ton!!
The hardest part the handle install. You think you could talk a little. Seems easy unless mine has a default.
Are you still having trouble with it?
My clamp actually looks different then this one and mounts to the top of the tube from what I can gather. Or maybe I’ve got it together wrong lol
@@Steviethegr8 Not sure without seeing it, but is it a newer version maybe?
@@HandyGuy2016 just bought it yesterday lol

My cruise control on the switch does not stay locked in I literally have to leave my thumb on it. Anyone else have this issue?
Negative. Is there a way to tighten it, or is something broke inside?
Oop
Do you keep your trailer at a fire department?
I'm a firefighter, and I sometimes use an empty bay to work on projects.
@@HandyGuy2016 that’s smart. I volunteer on EMS
Appreciate your service, be safe out there.
@@HandyGuy2016 Thank you! And the same for you!
Do they still sell these at Lowes these days?
Yes, as far as I know. I was at a Lowes about a month ago and they were in stock.

@@mkfan6167 I don't know, but I will look into that.
Good to know, I will have to look into that.
Is this thing heavy to carry?
It's comfortable for the productivity and it weighs several pounds less than my 580 which is one of the heaviest on the market.
@@HandyGuy2016 thanks for the info 👍🏻
Little heavy but it’s very comfortable. I just bought one last week and I like it a lot..
