I love the look and feel of my skin after shaving with a disposable women's shaver. It gets rid of the peach fuzz and any other hairs, and makes makeup application so much better :) Been doing it for years.

As a black woman in her 40’s the recommendations and suggestions are applicable for darker skin shades/ tones. Love shaving my face especially my upper cheeks to get rid of peach fuzz . Make up looks so much better.

I also shave my face with a man's razor. My skin is very sensitive and dry, so the first product I apply after shaving is the Colleen Rothschild's CBD oil. This oil works like a magic.

I (used to be ) blonde, but now white. I never wore foundation, even back to a teen, because of an abundance of white peach fuzz. I am now 79, and took it upon myself to shave, not knowing that other women did!! I never told anyone until i watched you tube! I now have my 32 yo granddaughter shaving, as she is still quite blonde.

For CENTURIES painters have painted women with large foreheads, it was considered one of their most beautiful features! you are crazy to think yours doesn't look good or is too prominent. You are so beautiful, trust me ❤❤❤and if you don't trust me, next time you travel to France or Italy, look at the paintings in the museums (and then go to the pharmacy for some Avene products 😂). The avene cicalfate moisturizer gave me millia under my eyes.
The spf compact is nice but a little too dark.

You're so funny, Sheri! I've been dealing with a large forehead too. It's hereditary, but I'm determined to find the right serum that will fill my hair in. That way, I won't wear bangs anymore.
I don't think anything will fill in my hairline that never existed but I do have some great hair serums that work really well on areas that had thinned out. But also just oiling my scalp with Rosemary oil works great too prior to washing.
Agree the compact sunscreen is awesome instead of foundation. Sadly the amount of product is minimal

I’ve been shaving my face for years with just a plain old razor 🪒, the same type of razor that my husband uses, I went at purchased one of those micro bladed gadgets which cost a fortune and never use it, I prefer to just use a simple razor that does the same job as any expensive gadget out there if not better in my humble opinion…it’s always lovely to see you Sheri, I’ve added a few new skincare products to my routine now and they’ve been working really well to fade down more of my age spots, they seemed to get to a point where they weren’t budging until I switched up my skincare and now I’m noticing them fading better than before. I bought the Avene compact after watching your video. I have fair, cool skin and Beige is too dark for me, but I can wear it on days I'm not out and about much. It provides light-medium coverage on my skin. and building it up is too heavy for me, but that can be the color problem, too. It requires moisturizer and untinted sunscreen on my skin. It looks greasy at first but settles down to a satin glow finish. It wears pretty well provided I let each underlying step set before application. I'm sure I'll use it up, but, given the color problem on my fair skin, I won't be repurchasing.
We are going to Paris in December. I’m going to check all that out.

Hi Sheri, it still looks quite shiny ( the Avene foundation) once it is dry - i was looking for a tinted SPF that really does not leave this shiny finish as I have combination skin ( on the oily side) and the last thing I want is shiny SPF that enhances the pores and looks like my skin is oily. I've been searching for a couple years haha. You're looking great as usual ,I wonder what part of the world you are in at the moment! all the best from Hertfordshire

Good tips. I'm with you on the hot showers. In the winter our old farm house is cold and there's nothing like a hot shower! I'm wondering why we can't order products not sold in the US? If you know who to contact one could order products from France, I would imagine.

Great video. I have been watching you recommend the tinted sunscreen for some time now but have been on the fence only because of the two color selection. I think i maybe a little darker than you but not by much
So don't know if i should go with the honey or lighter one. Definitely going to try the cleanser though.
Maybe try Honey 1st and if it's too dark, use it as a bronzer. But it is also quite forgiving and some that are my shade tell me it blends well for them. It was tricky for me at 1st though because I was going off the swatch I put on my arm and thought it was way too dark, but when I applied it to my face and blended it out, it was perfect. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! 💜

Used a mens razor for first time and will never go back to those twinkle or twinkle like razors. Women's face razors are so dull even when brand new. They drag an mens razor are so much better.

Hi Sheri, every large can of the Avene Thermal Water has splashed my face, never have any of them come with a fine mist as the one your showing? I’m really light( if not fair) skinned, do you think the powder will look orange on me and also the spf? Will it really dry down completely and now be tacky and or sticky and orange? Thank you for sharing, I’m going to head over and shop. 😅
Oh darn.Are you shaking the can? I think I read somewhere to not shake the can 1st so I wonder if that is the problem??? But mine always sprays out super fine. Maybe see if they can exchange it for you. Hmmmm I'm not sure about the shades on you. If you are fair, then maybe skip getting the tinted SPF and compact. (the non tinted doesn't have the same finish...it's a lot more shiny). I'm more medium/tan so the tint may be way too dark for you. The compact isn't a powder, it is a cream to powder but never feels dry or chalky. Sometimes I powder it down with an SPF powder but I like the natural finish all by itself. Neither are orange. Hope that helps. 💜

My sister in laws mother shaved her face for years. When she passed away you could tell she had been shaving for years , they shaved her face but her make-up looked awful and she looked like she had a 5 o'clock shadow. My mom who is now 92 she was 90 at the time looked at me and said she looks like a man lol unfortunately my sister in law heard her and said that's because she shaved her face her whole life.
Does the mens razor get all the fine hairs too?
Yes! That's what I love about it. It gives a super close shave. so much better than the fancy shaving devices....and it's not expensive. 💜

Lots of people use those tinkle razors or sonic razors or Finishing Touch devices made for women. I prefer men's razors over women's razors though.💜.
