      @TL1000S97 Před 2 lety +1

      @@filthyscorpion I really like the bike, but was a bit disappointed after getting used to the power. Before I installed the Stage 2 sprockets and the water2air intercooler the power varies too much depending on air temp. And the factory restrictions are probably wise for most, but not to my liking.
      Now I have "freed" the bike from that, but will not be able to test that out until sometime next year (winter time here).

    I added in the full Penta carbon Exhaust, the F1 Filter, this ECU flash on my 2020 H2 SX SE+, and all I can say is HOOOLY $H!T!!!!!!!!! This bike is what is SHOULD be from the factory! More power off bottom, I can cruise through a town in 6th gear literally able to idle along doing 35, and just roll the throttle! Super smooth and crisp response, and as the revs rise it just never stops pulling! For the first few rides I kept it at the stock 12k RPM redline, but then said, I have to know... ALLL the way to 14k and from 12-14k it just feels like it has another 50-60 hp! Thing just SINGS!, and the exhaust note, so pure, no pop, no cackle, no blubber, just sounds JUST like an H2R! I weighed the stock stainless system vs the new titanium and Carbon Penta carbon and it was a solid 60lbs of weight loss! the stock muffler alone, weights more than the whole Penta carbon exhaust! It also opened up that B e a Utiful rear wheel. I was also able to keep the center stand as it cleared perfect with only a 1/4" of gap to spare.
    I did not get to ride much for 23, only 200 miles with the set up, but this year will be doing videos on the whole thing on our channel, I showed it tore down and then will take it out on some back roads and do some 80-170+ pulls as it will do that in less than a 1/4 mile! (178 so far the fastest I have gone before a corner comes up). I have to thank Brock for doing such a great job, and I have to say, even though it all was about 3 grand to do, adding the power of a Ninja 650, to an already powerful bike is WELL worth the price!
    DO it!!

    i work at kawa for a year now and i have to say that the ZH2 is a freaking brutal unicycle as you said. take out the traction etc and you have a 1st gear that you try to overpass somebody in the city and the bike just goes nuts. its too short in gearing. i would take a minimum of 2 teeth off the rear sprocket and put a stabilizer on it. then ok, you can actually enjoy it a bit. also the 15 liters of fuel tank is actually ridiculous. like 80km of range? nahh

      Not on this bike as the modes function differently. We can have full power and KTRC off with no speed limiter. All other modes will see full power, except rain - it kills a bunch of power. More info. here: blog.brocksperformance.com/kawasaki-z-h2-2020-information/

    Hi Brock, In your technological/price comparison seemed to have missed the most obvious engineering and asthetic difference between the two --- single sided swingarm compared to coventional double which accounts to quite a substantial decrease in production cost.

      @chris - duly noted. We didn't get into heated grips, cornering lights or the items needed to control them either.

    Thank you for this specs comparison! Im was about to ask about swing arm lengths, but you did it, but now im curiuse if their would be a swap being easy or kit to swap the z-h2 swjng arm ontk the h2sx. I like cornering, hell would it go onto the h2, some guys track their bikes. Looking at my h2sx theirs a lot of space to shorten up the wheel base.

    Brock, are you sure the h2sx has brembo front calipers, or maybe you have the incorrect spec sheet for the h2sx? Some of them had brembo calipers, but that one doesnt.

    Brock, I really want a H2SX for the speed and comfort, but do you think that this bike with your setup can compete with other top 1000cc on the street (highway)?

    Hey Brock, awesome video, super interesting. What’s your take on these supercharged engines, are they reliable?

    • @BrockDavidson
      @BrockDavidson  Před 4 lety +2

      @Pistol - brutally. If you leave the original configuration alone, and derestrict per the H2R template Kawasaki graciously provided, they will make more HP than most owners need for many years. Reliability issues arise with greed - overdrive super charger gears, adding too much RPM to increase boost/max power etc...

      Brock Davidson thanks so much, I’m very interested in buying the H2 SX and that was really my only concern.

    It’s great video again and the subtiles are too top for me for better understand what you say ! My opinion on the Z H2 it’s best ugly bikes on the world haha and the H2 SX it’s really too bad about your heavy pounds because i think it’s great bike but to heavy for me and for many people... ! I hope don’t do much mistakes sentences ! Ride safe V !
