i just made this point on tumblr a minute ago, but i'll see it again here. ouatih was definitley an in-joke movie. of course there's this, but another is that the film didn't contain the n-word as people claimed tarantino couldn't make a film without it. but, in the film he brought the foot stuff to the MAXIMUM with almost every female character having her feet out loud and or proud. i think it was stuff that snuck its way into the final draft after he saw some tarantino meme compilations and thought it'd be funny.

This reminds me. There wasn't a single foot shot in all of Jango OR Haeful Eight. Was there?

Tbf he also always plays a memorable character too. I'm glad Tarantino consistently casts him. He's a good actor

It would've been funny if Tarantino had Leo point his gun at him and then change his mind to mess with him without telling him beforehand.

Why do people say Quintin and not Quentin, seems odd to miss pronounce his name.

Well how do you know for sure Quentin doesn’t pronounce it Quintin? I mean unless you saw a clip of Quentin explaining how his name should be pronounced. Do we know for sure the right pronunciation?! Just something to think about.

      Aww the english language:
Is it "Genghis Khan" or "Chinngis Khan"?
We're told "Chinngis" is the correct spelling, But pronounce it using Medieval English and it in fact sounds like "Genghis/Ghengis"..
Same thing with "Charles": pronounce it using medieval English and it sounds like "Carlos", the Spanish name for Charles.
Which is right? And what deems it so? The ignorance of a population outweighs rulings and changes meanings.
Like "Prestige", the archaic meaning is 180° diffent than the modern word.
Or "stupid": we use it as a word to diminish others: in fact it originated from the word "stupor" where you're in a deep trance like thought, the sign of a very intelligent person, yet it's used the exact opposite today.
"nimrod" means to rebel and is used to describe "A mighty Hunter". When bugs bunny calls elmar fudd "Poor Little nimrod", bugs is in fact mocking him by calling him a "mighty Hunter", ignorance from people has brought the word to mean close to the modern definition of "Stupid".
Ignorance and people shape words and meanings, not knowledge and kings.
