*Thoughts:* ALBANIA MORE LIKE UNDERRATED-NIA. Imo, this is secretly one of the best countries and all of these songs slap except for Fairytale, which kind of sucks because it only became bad when they translated it. They should probably stop translating songs. Case in point: Shaj would have been an all-time fav for me (iconic, beautiful, revolutionary, gets me in my feelings), Fall From the Sky is just, like, pretty good. I'm sad about the loss of Arilena but hopefully a new amazing artist and song wins FiK next year.
There was kind of an ongoing drama after FiK 2019 where people were bickering about whether Albania should send ballads or pop, but of course any intellectual would know that the true answer is both because both Shaj and Me Tana were amazing :)
We have been neglecting Scandinavia so far, so next I'll do an ICONIC AND HIGH QUALITY NORDIC COUNTRY (no not u sweden)

you made a nice top, I'd just take out of it the songs from 2017 (as much as Lindita is a really good singer, I didn't like World, none of the versions made me like it, their entrant for 2017 should've been any of these two guys: czcams.com/video/79qNsxfEsps/video.html or czcams.com/video/zj_r-4VNOho/video.html - sorry there are almost no links from their live performances :/ well, I liked these songs the most), 2015 (sorry for all I'm alive fans, I just find it quite overrated) and I'd put there Identitet (the 2013 one, if I wrote the title right) and their song from 2008 and that would be quite like my rank xD (well, I'd put Arilena's song around 8th-10th because I'm not so fond of that version, but it's still something like "neither like nor dislike" for me)
well, we have even same top3, but mine would be like this: 1) Eugent, 2) Jonida, 3) Rona :D
Next country: my guess is either Iceland, Finland or Norway...
PS. will there be Hungary and/or Estonia? (if you made a video with them, I'm sorry I didn't notice it) :D

This is honestly one of my favourite countries in Eurovision. Albania, in my opinion, has never sent a bad entry, just good ones and a couple of great and mediocre ones! I’m always interested to see what they will bring next. Here’s my opinion!
    17. 2012 - 5/10
I don’t hate this one, I think that Rona has an amazing voice, but the song just feels like it was made just to showcase her voice.
    16. 2005 - 5/10
Nice ethnic vibe, but this song just exists. It’s kind of forgettable.
    15. 2004 - 5,5/10
The chorus is quite nice, but I’m not the biggest fan of her voice. I can understand how it ended up so high, though.
    14. 2016 - 6/10
Well, at least this song has a good structure and kind of a good chorus. But yeah, it’s another forgettable one.
    13. 2020 - 6,5/10
This song would have been much higher if they kept it in Albanian. That version sounded much better.
    12. 2017 - 7/10
It’s no surprise that Albania sends good voices to Eurovision, but damn, this is another level! Still, the song could have been better.
    11. 2011 - 7,5/10
An okay ballad, I appreciate the energy in there.
    10. 2015 - 7,5/10
This entry was kind of overrated by fans, even though I think it’s good. Nice chorus and voice.
    9. 2007 - 8,5/10
Very interesting song, it has a nice, slow pace.
    8. 2014 - 8,5/10
Underrated one. I’ve always liked this ballad and I think that both the instrumental and the vocals really shine in this song!
    7. 2006 - 9/10
This is how you do an ethnic song correctly! Make it fun and catchy!
    6. 2018 - 9/10
And this is how you do an ethnic ballad correctly! Make it mysterious and with a great voice & chorus!
    5. 2008 - 9,5/10
Awesome rock ballad. The vocals work so great together with the great instrumental!
    4. 2009 - 9,5/10
Albania also showed us how to create a kickass pop song! The chorus is amazing, it’s pretty much perfect for these kinds of songs.
    3. 2010 - 10/10
And then, one year later, Albania outdid themselves yet again! This time, the chorus was even more awesome and the vocals were just as great!
    2. 2013 - 10/10
I think Albania is amazing at creating rock songs. This hard rock track features some kickass vocals, an excellent guitar solo and overall give us a well done song! Too Europe didn’t understand their awesomeness.
    1. 2018 - 10/10
This is my winner of 2018. An epic rock ballad, with some outstanding vocals from Eugent! The instrumental also works really amazing with the vocals! Overall, the song structure was also well thought out and combined everything into one of my favourite Eurovision songs of all time!
By the way, I really like your opinion, it’s so great that we’ve been recently having the same first places. Makes it much easier to enjoy each others opinion!

Hello again!!! My thoughts on Miss Shqiperia:
    17. Hmmm. I really liked Perralle, it was interesting and mysterious and when the chorus hit it was so goddamn powerful. And then they translated it. And that's not a HUGE problem (but the lyrics are iffy). But what was worse was they changed the instrumental too????? Like sis that was literally the best part of ur song wtf. It went from knock-u-off-ur-feet power ballad to song that plays in the background at a jazzy lounge club. A waste, rly
    16. I rly like this haha. Her energy is EVERYTHING and the song is a rly rly good rock-pop moment. Was in my qualifiers (and honestly, better than 2011 Azerbaijan no cap)
    15. Have not watched 2007 yet (thats the next year that I'm watching tho), but this seems kinda bad ngl
    14. I appreciate this for how unique this melody is, but miss hersi needed to stick to Albanian bcos her accent is so weird here its a bit of a put-off. also the song doesn't rly go places. but I by no means hate this
13.WAIT, A BOP? FROM ALBANIA? How unprecedented. Once again haven't watched this but it seems fun and good
    12. I don't mind this at all but I have the same problem that I had with Georgia 2016 - it goes nowhere and the verses and choruses just blend together in a forgettable jumble of rock. And I love a good rock moment. This isn't a horrible rock moment but its not a good one. fire guitar was iconique tho
    11. This grew on me a LOT. At first I found it boring, but then I started to rly get into it and vibe. also she was 16, wow the power
    10. ONLY TENTH?? Sis, this just proves that when Albania wants to do a bop they DO A DAMN BOP. This staging is a mess but omg this song is so incredibly catchy, coming like 17th I think was simply NOT IT periodt
    9. Everyone seemed to hate this and I was NOT appreciating it. Was Bote much much better? ABSOLUTELY. When they translated it did it fall down in my rankings? Yep. But this still should have qualified. I mean.....sis the vocal. The strength of that note. Ugh I cant with how robbed this is but at the same time I understand why it didn't qualify
    8. Giving me Sertab vibes but worse. idk about this one
    7. People are gonna hate me but I cannot STAND this song. Shaj was my second place and I enjoyed it. But then the revamp came and it just felt so cold and sterile to me. No emotion. And the lyrics are so cringey in English. literally why does Albania never learn to just STOP FUCKING TRANSLATING WTF. But also can we talk about how bad this music video is?? It's so badly shot, her outfit choice is legitimate GARBAGE, and the colour editing literally makes me want to vomit. No hate to Arilena tho, her vocal is amazing. HOWEVER. HOW TF DID ME TANA NOT WIN?? ALBANIA YOU HAD A TOP 10 IN THE BAG WITH A POSSIBLE TOP 5 HEADING YOUR WAY AND YOU TOSS IT IN THE TRASH? CHILE- THE AUDACITY
    6. OMG A ROBBED QUEEN, should have been top 10 periodt. I'm glad they changed it from Diell bcos the vocal was amazing but the song was so so dated. And honestly, I thought her vocal was actually BETTER cos she was sick, it was more husky and interesting and she fucking NAILED the high notes. Cannot believe people were saying that oo she was sick her vocal was horrible >:( like sis get ur ears checked this was phenomenal
    5. ANOTHER BOP I love this so much. That high note on 'the way YoOoUuUu look at me' is stunnin' luv and everything about this just screams televote winner. but in the end, she didn't :(
    4. Seems very good for 2000s entry tbh, but I haven't watched it yet
    3. THIS SHIT SLAPS YO, a total and complete goddess, Albanian queen and diva, serving ethnic realness, serving looks, serving place, serving robbed of a top 10. I was so incredibly worried that this would be translated so THANK GOD it wasn't (after Mall and Ktheju Tokes in succession I thought Albania was finally learning their lesson and then they did shaj dirty like that)
    2. QUEEN. The vocal??? OMG shook. The hair as a necklace? Ugh the power to be able to do that. A deserved high finish. It's art and that's that
    1. I love his vocal and I love the song and I was hoping so hard it would qualify but I don't love it with the fervour that a lot of y'all do. Its rly great but Albania has done better in my opinion. But this finished at a great place and Eugent is so precious omg
