I can't help but feel broken hearted every time I see or hear Gazza. His euphoric highs throughout the 90's are over shadowed by his demise and the decades of suffering and despair that followed. The nation loved him, everyone and anyone had a funny or endearing story to tell about their encounter with him, so it's always felt very unfair that addiction and poverty dominated such a large chunk of his life. You can't fathom how it all went so wrong. However today we're blessed with this heart warming story rather than those red top rags who all to often like to take a cheap shot at him. I'm made up that he had this moment with The Prince of Wales. He's always made it known how much a similar meeting with the late Princess of Wales meant to him. He's the kind of guy who will buzz off this for months! He needs more of that in his life, dare I say he deserves it. William's genuine surprise and concern was touching. It's fantastic to see that iconic grin back on his face, as he cracks his cheeky one liners. The Gazza charm and sparkle are on full display. You can see he's in a good place, happy with his lot, taking one day at a time. I hope it's all up for here on in for the legend that is Paul Gazza Gascoigne ❤

My mate got robbed for his ticket outside St James when he was a little kid. His mum made a big fuss about how terrible it was and he got given new tickets and a dressing room tour.
When he went in the dressing room Gazza was naked and he said "now you can tell your lass you've seen me cheesy bell end" 😂 My mate was 10.
I've met Gazza a few times actually when he was much older, he was a nice guy.
