    Lots of evidence she landed there. But there is way to much talk from the locals on other islands that they saw her as a Japanese prisoner. And was executed a few years later as a spy. Even in 1945 our own solders reporting seeing a plane like hers.

    This island was over flown by a search aircraft during the original search for Amelia Earhart , in 1937, the pilot said he saw no one. If Amelia & her navigator were alive there you would have thought they would have heard the plane and made themselves as visible as possible.

    The Electra's fuel gauge must have been faulty. She flew 370 miles South of Howland to get to Nikomorro, which was pin pointed as her location by triangulation from three different sources. Too many questions, too many stories written, some just to sell books. Until and unless the fuselage of the plane is found, it will remain a mystery. Some mysteries will never be solved. Its time to let go of it. She was a pilot, courageous for sure, but not a knowledgable person with her radios, such a trip would allow for no deficiencies in communication skills. Hilary Swank played Amelia, and her resemblance was simply amazing in a movie I think was under rated. See it, be glad you did!!

    They won't find the plane at Gardner Island. She made it to Mili Atoll just as the locals there said and what the new photo shows. EXACTLY what they have been saying since 1944 is in the photo. Others then saw her on Saipan where the Japanese took her. Other witnesses saw her plane, other witnesses saw her at the prison, other witnesses saw her passport and documents on Saipan. Marine Generals and Nimitz all said they knew she was on Saipan.

    Amelia Earhart faked her death to live a normal private life. She lived in New Jersey as "Irene Craigmile Bolam." It's an undeniable conclusion even with the slightest bit of research. If that isn't enough, look up her granddaughter "Grace McQuire" who also lives in New Jersey, is a spitting image of Amelia, is a pilot, and owns an Electra just like Amelia'a plane, and amongst many other connections, has been drawing publicity for planning on finishing the flight her grandmother didn't finish.

    • @jeffreyjones5525
      @jeffreyjones5525 Před 10 lety

      Actually, you are 100% wrong. Did you even fully understand the results before commenting? Bc the results of the "Beyond 37's Forensic Study" that you're referencing was that Irene Bolam was Amelia Earhart. I will agree that the results were a bit confusing, but you're clearly mistaken about the analysis and the results that the exec's from AP and CNN publicly stated had convinced them. Let me help you understand so you don't embarrass yourself again. There were two women that were the basis of the forensic study: 1) "Irene O'Crowley Craigmile" (aka "NON-Gervais Irene"); and 2) Irene Craigmile Bolam (aka "Gervais-Irene;" aka "Amelia Earhart")."Irene O'Crowley Craigmile," was the true birth mother of Larry Heller, the son who took part in the study. The other woman that was being compared was "Irene Craigmile Bolam," the woman Joe Gervais identified and publicly accused as being "Amelia Earhart." You are absolutely correct that there was not a 100% match between the features of these two women. The problem was that, and this is where you got confused, there was supposed to be a 100% exact match between the two women in the photographs (as that is what the Gervais-Irene/Amelia was claiming), and there wasn't. You see, the point of the examination was not to prove that the woman in the photographs was Amelia Earhart per se, but rather to point out that it could very well be her by disproving the ludicrous notion that the women in all of the pictures was indeed one in the same (i.e. Irene Craigmile). By proving that there was two different women in those pictures and therefore one was an imposter, (a fact that was confirmed by Larry Hellerman when he positively identified his mother as the NON-Gervais Irene, and that the Gervais-Irene, which was also supposed to be the same person, was definitely not), provided the basis by which the Gervais theory became plausible. This revelation prompted the second examination between the photos of the Gervais-Irene and Amelia Earhart. The results of this examination were conclusive that the two women were a match in every feature except a very noticeable difference in the subject's nose - a difference that was commonly produced by a 'deviated septum rhinoplasty' procedure, an affliction Amelia was known to suffer from. In addition to the hundreds of eyewitness accounts and former testimony of her survival on Saipan, her participation with Japan during the war, and her subsequent return to the US to seek a non-public lifestyle as attested to by friends, relatives, govt officials, soldiers, official records, documents and the abundance of circumstantial evidence such as Ms. Bolam's adamant refusal to submit to fingerprinting, and her vehement requirement that under no circumstances was the Human ID forensic qualifiers such as her DNA, dental records, fingerprints, and blood allowed to have been taken post-death, which is the only reason Irene Bolam has not been positively identified as Amelia Earhart, the "physical evidence of her presence on Saipan and the striking similarities in friends, locations, and interests, and the surprisingly close relationship bw alleged strangers Grace McGuire and Amelia's sister Muriel, Irene Bolam is and was unequivocally Irene Bolam. I suggest you read some of the primary and secondary sources that are available attesting to this and/or her survival on Saipan, which Admiral Nimitz and UN ambassador for Marshall Islands Alfred cappelle confirmed when he said "its unrecognized history that Amelia came to the island in 1937," the destruction of the Electra by the US Govt after taking the island of Saipan, and the jailhouse,hospital, and hotel where she stayed prior to going to japan for seven years and becoming a traitor to her country, which is why a govt official stated "the truth about Amelia Earhart would stagger the imagination," all of which is the reason she didn't return to the US and to the public life as an American hero. Much of the eyewitness accounts and testimony regarding this has already been uploaded on CZcams if you're truly interested in the truth and hearing it from the actual witnesses, instead of just recycling what the govt tells you. In the very least, the evidence is enough to question the official narrative.

      Please don't cite that lawsuit. IMO, the details of it make the case that Bolam was Earhart more than it supports the theory that she wasn't, which I already discussed. In case you forgot, McGraw Hill Publishers and Joe klaas were sued by Irene Bolam for damage to her reputation and violation of her Privacy. Bolam sued bc the book claimed that 1) Irene Bolam was not legally married to Guy Bolam (since if she was Amelia, she would still technically be legally married to George Putnam); and 2) that Irene was Amelia. On the first issue: McGraw Hill was found liable and agreed to pull the book from the shelves bc the book contained a statement that Irene was not legally married to Guy Bolam, and thus was entitled to damages for harm to her reputation (i.e. She was a polygamist), which McGraw agreed to settle out of court for an undisclosed amount. But, that was only pertaining to the sole issue of the statement in the book, not about the statement that Irene was Amelia, since Irene could not prove that statement in the book was not true without a judgment from the court on that issue, which was the second issue. On the second issue, McGraw et al offered to pay Irene the $1.5million that she sought in damages on the condition that she allow her fingerprints to be taken to prove the issue of her identity, which the court found to be an acceptable provision. Irene refused to be fingerprinted however, and subsequently dropped the second issue regarding her identity. Thus, this case did not prove that Irene was not Earhart, it only proved that McGraw published a book with a defamatory statement in it (a statement which was only defamatory bc they could not establish Irene was Amelia without her fingerprints being examined, which Irene prevented from being tested. Bc if she had, McGraw would have had the evidence and would not have been required to pull the book, and would have won the case). I don't know why you keep bringing that case up without mentioning the basis for the decision.
      As per the Natgeo program from 2006, that program was based on the Irene-Amelia claim, but it did not address the issue that there was more than one person under the identity of Irene Craigmile Bolam. As such, it erroneously depicted an image of the original Irene Craigmile as being the woman Joe Gervais accused as being Amelia, which was not true. The woman Gervais met and publicly accused was an entirely different women under the same name, a fact that Natgeo conveniently left out.
      As for your last claim, let me teach you an important lesson when citing information: NEVER CITE FROM WIKIPEDIA. It's an unacceptable source in Historical research, and academia in general. The problem with Wikipedia is that it can be edited by anyone, including you, which allows for select information to be published without any concern for its veracity. In your case, you relied on and copied a segment from Wikipedia, which someone else copied and pasted in there while leaving out the rest of that paragraph. When you're citing information, you have to cite all of it, not just the parts that fit your argument. Here, I copied the rest of it for you to read: ["In 2006, Criminal forensic expert Kevin Richlin was hired by National Geographic to study photographs of Earhart and Bolam and cited many measurable facial differences between them, concluding that the two people were not the same. "-but, this is not true. Forensic detective Kevin Richlin never forensically "concluded" the two were not one in the same and admits that. Richlin did mention the producers of the show did not supply him with enough adequate photo data and/or other forensic data to conduct a thorough analysis, and therefore he could not draw a hard conclusion"]. It would behoove you to do some independent research and thinking on your own regarding this issue instead of reading a mere article and just regurgitating that author's ideas, especially when those ideas come from a such a weak source like Wikipedia.
