I remember him in the Lenny Henry comedy “Chef” as his assistant. I think his name was Everton or something similar. The actress who played Karen was previously the landlady of a different East End pub, who was Star’s daughter and called the police on Jay after entering a relationship with her, unaware she was 14. You also have Danny Champ previously making a brief appearance as a Walford Gazzette journalist, before being recast as Stewart. One other little remembered appearance was the actress who plays Denise Fox; in 1993 or 1994 she played a nightclub singer, who Carol Jackson accused her then husband Alan having an affair with.
Fun fact: The actor who plays the male officer in this scene also played a corrupt DS in The Bill who’s last appearance culminated in murdering PC Eddie Santini who went on to play Andy Hunter :)) and yes I know the officer is also Mitch Baker :))
@Qasim Hussain I think a younger Patrick would've battered Andy. Patrick was obviously harder when he was younger considering he would've been fitter, faster and stronger in his younger days. And Patrick as an old man was on the same level as Andy IMO. Charlie would've taken Andy, he battered Trevor, and Andy wasn't harder than Trevor.

All of you saying 'That's Mitch' clearly didn't watch the classic Eastenders. When I saw him reappear as Mitch, I thought he was undercover and looking to set up Phil for something (only the old school fans know what i'm talking about lol)
@Joker it is relevant because if you watched the old episodes you'd know he was one of the coppers who hated Phil. It would have made for a great storyline if Phil recognised him as the copper and he was up to something undercover. Bit like Kate working at Jack Dalton's club
A) I did not realise that british police cars still looked like jam sandwiches in 2005 B) That chief detective came back to eastenders many years later as another character
Lorraine Stanley who plays Karen Taylor played another character's mother on EE. Jake Moon who acted as Max Branning played Diane Butcher's street friend back I'm the early 90s. Leslie Schofield who acted as Jeff Healy played Brian Wicks back in 1988. Diane Parish starred Lola Pearce in 1998. Ans the lady who's Cora Cross played Roy's ex lover! Last but not least Linda Henry played Mandy's mom back in the early 1990s! Wait one more, Tiffany Mitchell 's mom, Louise played a mother of two. A very pivotial moment in EE, because it was Andy O'Brien final scene which was EE first character they killed off.
paul was killed because it was Paul or Andy the Gangland Boss would have killed one or the other so Andy said Paul was the Grass to save himself, so indirectly Andy did have something to do with it, he had no choice really him or Paul quick decision
Never new Mitch was in it two times. Mind you Nigel from Holby city comes in the flapping doors. And Tracey is in every place to cover a shift. I need to put the kettle on. It's ok Tracy can handle tea bags
I know it's a serious issue, but it didn't look to me like Patrick got a good look. He didn't go into the room, and they didn't even open the curtain! Is he SURE it was Paul? Could this leave the door open for Paul to return, when everyone thinks he's been dead for 15 years? Stranger things have happened in EastEnders...!
no stranger things haven't happened. The ressurections have been very specific, characters mysteriously dead off-screen. Patrick saw Paul's face. His body. We didn't because they didn't bring the actor in to play the dead body
Wow Mitch was a police officer! I thought Ben said it was 5 years ago. This was way back in 2005. Oh Paul Coker, not Paul Truman! All these dead Paul’s are confusing me. I wondered why Ben was so upset!
These days and for the last 10 years Patrick has been very close with Denise & Kim Fox... are they related to each other or just very very very close friends. So close they are like family?
Johnny Allen found out that Andy had something to do with Paul's death. After this, he offered to help Patrick found out the truth and Johnny found out from one of his 'contacts' that Paul was killed.

Yeah shame he wasnt in it earlier
OMG Mitch Glad they brought him back as a main character!!

little did he know that policeman would return 13 years later and steal his money.
What's also quite ironic that the same actor who plays the copper killed Michael higgs character in the Bill to.

andy nearly died here. patrick would have ended him with a swift trueman spinning back elbow. yeahh mon
@Qasim Hussain Patrick in his prime would've crushed Andy though. I'm not sure if Andy could've taken Patrick here anyways without his heavies.
