Paul and Dennis kind of had a friendship. Dennis offered him a job because they had similarities of trying to go straight. But Dennis and Andy had an on off friendship and Andy killed Paul. Wonder if Dennis found out. Janine made Natalie leave Paul and wanted him to give her an alibi later. As if 😂

Dennis and Alfie had trouble holding Paul against the wall and it's sad that Alfie is the only survivor of those 3 great characters since Dennis and Paul both got killed

Paul was an absolutely brilliant character in Eastenders. And the actor who played him, Gary Beadle, was an outstanding actor - I don't think it's an exaggeration to say he's one of the best actors to ever appear in Eastenders. Certainly he is one of the most underrated. His portrayal of Paul from start to finish, in every storyline he was involved, was absolutely magnificent.
I 100% agree with you, it's really sad the direction the show took his character in which prompted him to leave - Gary Beadle is a hugely underrated talent in British media.
@@everythingeastenders2298 Chadwick Boseman "left" his role as Reggie Montgomery on All My Children because he hated how Black Men were portrayed as thugs. Michael B. Jordan replaced him and did very well for himself. He did Allan Carr's Chat Show but I don't think he talked about All My Children.
Paul was quite a strong lad.

Janine was lucky Dennis had hold of Paul because if it was anyone else he would of got hold of her. Dennis and Paul two of the best characters in Eastenders history.
I sometimes don't understand why they killed his character off. He was great for the show.
The actor spoke up about the Stereotype of black men playing thugs and drug deals so the bosses of Eastenders killed off Paul

Paul was so pissed he managed to get to the other side of the pub with Dennis holding him back. I can remember being angry myself and i wanted to smash that car as much as he did.

I thought Paul was a great character. He should still be there, but no, Eastenders brings back rubbish characters, gets rid of good ones and add loads more pointless ones.

I remember this episode and i always said that they shouldve let paul get janine as she asked for it , shes a coward, backing away as paul lunged at her , she can give but she obviously couldnt take , glad shes left now .

The good ole days of Eastenders. Great characters. Great stories. Utter cringe now. Paul Trueman, Andy Hunter, Dennis Rickman, Johnny Allen, David Sullivan, Steve Owen, The Firm, all truly great days, with truly great characters. EE could go back to being a quality show, if it went back to the Firm or they came back and caused some real issues for Phil and he was finally beaten. It's been quality to see him dominate for so long, but if they came back out the woodwork and beat Phil. Bring back The Firm!

I've always said, that Dennis was harder than Paul.
But watching this, I'd say Paul was harder, it took all of Dennis's strength to hold him back, and Paul managed to drag him to the other side of the pub.

Paul might’ve been stronger physically but Dennis was a way better fighter. He was a boxer whereas Paul was just a brawler.

Janine reminds me so much of Two US Soap Actresses. Michelle Stafford Phyllis #1 on The Young & The Restless, and Gina Tognoni (Ex-Phyllis #3 and Dinah Marler #4 on The Young & The Restless). Phyllis because she know how to push a person's Anger Buttons. Dinah because she never learns from past mistakes and repeats them.

Personally I believe Paul and Dennis were the toughest guys in the history of the franchise. I remember that episode where Dennis put Phil on his ass.

Another Frightening Scene was with Tonya Lee Williams who played Olivia Barber Hastings on The Young & The Restelss when she found out her Husband Cheated on her with a Woman who was HIV Positive and she may have gotten it. Needless to say she was so mind-blowing and after she did the Scene folks were scared to go near her.
