So happy the Wildlife of Tim Faulkner is finally available for viewing in the United States.
Same! We need much more!!!
and about time!!!!!!! :)
Yes!
The music is a little overpowering at times. Sometimes you can't hear the dialogue. Love the show!
Tim's love of his job and the animals and his enthusiasm reminds me of Steve Irwin. Rip Steve.
Have a good nightmares
I hadn't realized that connection. thank you for pointing it out. Beautiful! Now I'm understanding why I enjoy him so much.
I agree with you, he has the same passion.
He reminds me of both Steve and Johnny Wilkinson the England Rugby player 😅
@@kingy002 are you high or something 🤣 why
Really neat seeing the Bondi Vet team having their own shows. Tim's always been one of my favorites! c:
THE MUSIC
ᵗʰᵉ ᶜᵒᵐᵐᵉⁿᵗᵃᵗᵒʳ
Tim is way more interesting that the music, after all. I came to listen to Tim, not the music!
The music overwhelms the people talking sometimes :(
Agreed! Need a better trained sound person/editor,no continuity. Otherwise excellent show!! GO TEAM BONDI!
@@kathimorrical9912 Yes!!!
I'm loving this Tim Faulkner focused show!!
The way tim handled that snake (the small scrubby) was rather funny. Love this show :)
Music is too overpowering!! Show is great!!
AGAIN... The music interferes with the commentary. Don't you check these before posting?
Tim is funny-- "You look that way mista" *grabs snake by the tail*🤣
you really need to turn that music off so we can hear what Tim is saying
I love this Show, but man, the soundmixing in this can be awful.
It can be very clunky. Too many quick starts and spastic finishes. Music is usually well picked though! (It's interesting, especially to my kids)
But the music is often too loud or the vocals too quiet. They had the same problem woth a lot if the earlier Bondi Vet (not just Tim) episodes and clips, but they seem to have got that fixed. Sucks to see the problem surfacing again.
Why do I feel so bad for the cats:(
Me too I don't think poisoning them is the best solution
@@amandaalexander8480 yeh they were just trying to survive
@@specialhammy1591 right that's foul frfr
Because the cats were left on an island, to fend for themselves. So birds in a cage is the way they survive. Like snakes in a fruit tree eating fruit or fruit bats! But the concern is for snakes, can’t feel the same for abandoned cats, they are poisoned with little thought of saving them. They poison cats here in Brantley County Georgia for trying to live off scraps in garbage dumpsters.
Yeah I didn't like that either why not just relocate them to home and shelters.
My father caught rattlesnakes fir the San Antonio, Texas scientist developing anti venom in the 1930s. He taught me to handle snakes. Hubby nearly had a heart attack the first time I gently moved a rattler off a road. People deliberately run over them, they seem to think rattlers spend their time looking for people to bite!
Thank you for doing that. You are awesome.
I hate them.
I get the same response when I remove snapping turtles and porcupines from the road. Neither can fare well when up against a truck. I do wish the snappers would not go after the swans though.
Thats awesome. Thanks for helping the rattlers.
Love from Madagascar 🇲🇬 🥰
Favourite show
Love Tim and all the work he and his team do, might I ask that the music that plays while he talks be not as loud though. At times it is very difficult to hear him.
tim is amazing at what he does
Good job Tim! And good luck to the Australian Reptile Park with all the Funnelweb spiders that are in higher numbers due to flooding. Stay safe everyone and sending prayers your way from the US
That snake was saying "but I was going to the other side of the road!"
Yeah, but he was also saying “thanks for not running me over, Tim!”
5:00 superhero catch right there, holey moley 👏👏
music too loud, can't hear Tim talking very well.
sound editor needs a slap. Music louder then the talking and voice overs over the video voices and so on. Normally love watching Bondi Vet but the sound editing has not been good lately.
I love Tim and his enthusiasm for all wildlife ❤
Hd lives a very interesting and fun life, but I'm sure it's very trying too when he has to be a surrogate mommy for one of the pouch animals from the ark or the zoo. It's not always fun to feed every 2 to 4 hours and then run around with them all day lol 😆
But he's doing a amazing job and I'm happy he got his own little show here on the Bondi Vet channel 😀
Beautiful country around that cave.
I feel like being a wallaby in one of those scenarios because your a parkour master
I love watching Tim. Full of information, expertise and enthusiasm.
I love this video ❤️
Thank you for making sure that beautiful snake was safe.
Same
That baby wallaby is beautiful, and they are so fast no agile. I’d love to visit Australia one day for the wildlife!
If I were a vet, I think I’d just stick to the cats and dogs 🤣😂
me to and i have a question did they kill them or did they transport them
what about rabbits and guinea pigs birds and chooks

I’m sure it doesn’t hurt when they grab the tails but I can’t help thinking it does
You’re correct, it doesn’t
I caught rattlesnakes for the Nature Trail in high school. Been there. Roo? Walabee? Are the same?
Roos and wallabies are from the same family, Macropoda.
good job tim and team. keep it up. stay safe always.
I'd rly rly love to volunteer to work with Tim and his crew with all those amazing animals. 😍
Love Bondi vet keep it up
Thanks Tim. You are definitely awesome.
Feral cats can be rehomed. It wasn’t the cats who were at fault but the humans who left them. They were only surviving. For such a small location capturing them was an option.
That's so cool he did that and saved the snake - snakes are cool - and beautiful in their own way
Cranky baby !!!
Hi Tim. Love you and your staff. You all do one heck of great job!!
Tim, you are outstanding.
Awesome! Tim rocks!
Tim is my absolute favorite
Catching the small kangaroo looking cuties I have no clue what there called but cheating them looks hard and a lot of fun.
Catching them not cheating.
Those were Yellow-footed rock wallabies. Wallabies are from the same family as kangaroos, but quite a lot smaller and much more agile
💖💖
Thanks for this video and the trip to see the sea birds and fur seals. So much better than travel videos as I not only get to see a country I can never visit but also all of the animals that survive there. Merry Christmas from a lady living in Kansas U S A. God bless.
Poor babies
He reminds me so much of Steve when he sweet talks the cranky street snake 🐍 😍 ❤
Jeez....... your sound engineer should have balanced that music better to the speaking voice....
that catch... wtf lol
Tim sure has got some super speedy reflexes!!!!! WOW! 😲😲😲😲😲😲
I can't believe they poisoned the cats.
Hi
How cute are the seals !
19 minutes early to watch animals
Music was too loud. Could not hear the vo
Made me jump when it almost attacked him
Im so nervous when it comes to snakes 😭😭,,but how do u hndle not to scared 🙅🙅🙅
And what kind of poison was used to kill the cats. I have no problem with euthanizing them, but done in a humane way.
I love Tim and everything he does. I do wish the editing was a bit better though. The music is so loud that I can not hear what Tim is saying. Hey editor, turn down that music volume please! Thanks and good on ya!
To the editor: "lower the music volume, it's hard to hear people speak"!
Maybe instead of killing all the feral cats create a cat colony. Spay and neuter them and adopt out kittens from the incoming cats. It works in other parts of the world.
But in the meantime they will keep on killing the endangered species. We just have to accept that in this case, that cats are a dangerous pest
in aussie it dont, the have a feral cat infestation even on the mainland.
As a cat rescuer I would generally agree with you, but in this case TNR would not have worked as they needed the cats gone and to have them stop attacking the local native wildlife.
Just curious how long did it take to catch all the Roo's?
Wait. Were they poisoning cats and killing them or were they relocating them
The music gets too loud and drowns Tim out!
Tim should have his own channel 😐i mean I enjoy the content, but I just think he deserves his own channel.
Well it definitely is inhumane to kill the cats with poision. It isn't their fault they got left behind. They probably kill the birds because they do need to eat to survive.
I know!! I thought they were going to catch them in the cages and take them somewhere else, where they would be looked after. Unbelievably cruel, cats are not rodents.
@@angelasmith7912even with rodents i have caught a few and let them go.
That's just not realistic. Cats are notorious for destroying entire ecosystems cause people just won't keep their pets inside. Let alone the feral populations that go unchecked. Cats are known to kill anything for fun, not just because they need food.
In this case, they're invasive in a place no humans live at all. Dumped there by people. Poisoning is the most efficient way to deal with pests which is what those cats are. Any other method would take more man power, more money and it's just not how people deal with pests. It may seem harsh if you've only seen them as pets but they are still invasive in an isolated island that mainly served as a haven for thousands of sea birds.
People poison rats, racoons, opposums, and hunt down snakes, for being pests in places people move into. This is no different, nobody lives on the island the most efficient way is poison if you're only able to get someone out to such a remote place every few days, considering how big cat litters can be.
Also: considering how many feral populations there are in cities already and the amount of cats circulating both breeder markets and shelters, where exactly do you expect feral cats to go? They've been alone there for probably 2-4 generations, you can't just bring a cat like that inside to be a lap cat, and people will "feel bad" and let them outside some other place to become another nuisance and danger to local populations. It's just not realistic.
Sad that you posioned the cats instead of captured them.
Saddened, sick, angry. No excuse for such inhumane behavior.
Capture and then what, give them away for adoption? They're feral cats and they will not be suitable as house pets.
@@cokylechristianb.792 Many feral cats can and are rehomed and live quite nicely as house pets. I have two right now who sleep with the dog and the other cats.
@@sneaks6635 Yeah not ones like that 100% away from humans, maybe ones in fields near homes and people. I rehome animals for a living and any that come from too far away from humans usually never find a forever home. They end up coming back over and over again, so sure its sad but what they were doing to the birds and other animals on that island was also not natural since cats aren't supposed to be there. Humans made the shitty choice of leaving them there and letting them breed and become wild. So who knows maybe a few of those cats would have done well in homes but I am sure they knew what they were doing and made the best choice for all involved regardless of our feelings.
Poisoning the cats....what!?!?? How cruel and painful! Not the cats fault they were left behind to fend for themselves. 😢
Well. There was no other i way, i guess...
@@biancaschulz8917 trap and put to sleep in a non-pain way at least...
@@biancaschulz8917 : You guess? It was cruel to gain their confidence only to poison the cats!

Love the show! But the music behind the narrative is to loud.
Tim , your a Brave Man 😱 JO JO IN VT 💕😄 🇺🇸
Did they say they poisoned and killed those cats?!!
Love the show but I just think there had to be another way of getting rid of the cats instead of poisoning them. That’s a horrific and painful and sometimes slow way to die. I know they had to remove them from the island for the birds but surely with all the technology and traps now, there was a more human way of dealing with them.
How can they breathe in those sacks?
They're made from hessian, it's permiable.
Sacks are usually used to transport reptiles, it actually calms them
They killed the cats on Tasman??
Yeah, that’s what a guy who was putting some one in a sack would say.
You killed the cats I don't like that that's not right they have every right to live like any of those other animals
Unfortunately there was no other option. They killed way more birds than their population. Those cats would eventually kill every bird, and then they would starve. Feral cats cant be tamed, and if they were placed in shelters they would most definitely be euthanized. If they sat in a no-kill shelter, cats that may have been able to take their spot will be euthanized at other shelters. It was the only option.
@@celeriti15 Feral cats actually CAN be tamed, its just not likely for them to ever be super docile or friendly, only possible to home (so you'd still have a half wild cat essentially)
@@isabellehodgetts6162 Yeah i meant like completely docile pets. My bad.
@@celeriti15 of course there was another Option.... they can at least be traped and put to sleep a non- painfull way... poison is quite cruel
@@sungli1 Yes, but in the end they would eventually have to die. They could have done it more kindly.
ummm - they poisoned the cats!? like what? all you needed to do was catch them. very disappointing :| 🐈⬛😧
Next time please don't play the music louder then the person talking. I have a hard time hearing it. sorry I don't mean to criticize, but I'm losing my hearing and it's already heard to hear.
There is captions but they aren’t great
Can't hear Tim over the loud music.
Sick to my stomach hearing that they killed the cats. Trap, spay/neuter & release somewhere safe. The guy, not Tim seemed very happy that he gained the cats trust and then killed them.
there is no somewhere safe in aussie. even on the mainland, feral cats are a pest that kill off native species. to aussie, its an invasive species.
Unfortunately, you can't release cats somewhere new. So trap and euthanize (rehome those who happened to be friendly enough) would have been much kinder to do.
Unfortunately, the needs of the birds who were there naturally and being slaughtered en masse matter more than the cats... It was irresponsible of the owners to leave them behind, but when they are truly feral, they can't be really tamed, and you can't re rerelease them. Thats the point. They unfortunately have to be culled in order for the natural life to flourish. Australia's ecosystem is being destroyed by animals like cats, rabbits and cane toads. You gotta cull them to thin their numbers. They have no natural predators in Australia. Humans have to intervene. (we started the mess anyway.)
You can't rehabilitate feral cats.
@@cokylechristianb.792 yes you can. Look it up on CZcams if you need evidence
Poisoning cats? That sounds a bit harsh and cruel... Why not capture and then put down humanely?
That would take more man power, more money and it's just not how people deal with pests.
People poison rats, racoons, opposums, and hunt down snakes, for being pests in places people move into. This is no different, nobody lives on the island and cats are notorious for killing things for no reason so they became a pest. Most efficient way is poison if you're only able to get someone out to such a remote place every few days, considering how big cat litters can be.
Why do tv shows insists on playing loud music at the same time as someone is talking? Like for example when Tim was at the Tasman Island they just started to blast loud music when Tim was talking, & it was like they lowered his mic to blast their music so you missed 98% of what Tim was talking about & for a nature program you come to watch to see Tim Faulkner’s enthusiasm & passion for the animals, his work & the wildlife & nature. To then drown him out by blasting extremely loud music over him talking & to lower his mic so we who watch can’t hear anything he says🤦♂️😡🤬🤯
I really don’t understand tv show’s producers & the editors, oh yes let’s give the viewers what they want a whole show with just Tim & his adventures in Australia’s animal/wildlife BUT drown him out by blasting music over him talking about important stuff. That will sure be good for the numbers👍🤦♂️🤨
Tim, I respect what u believe in I love lizards they so funny looking if it was not for u all we wouldn't have the anotdote to help us when we get snake bit it's hard WK so I pray for u u have been bless with strength, courage an u have a wonderful team I have to say mate okok blessings to ur u an ur team okok
Just hate the idea of poising. Hope, at least, it didn't cause major suffering like many poisons do.
Couldn't believe what I was hearing, are u all mad? - this is medieval stuff , I'm in tears. =^o^= what exactly is meant by 'eradicate'? If you can care about birds then the same can be applied to cats!
did I hear that well?? they poisoned all the wild cats on tasman island????????????? (at 23.00 mins in the video)
Music is always to loud
Wait...they poisoned the cats....
I hope Tim gets the same recognition as Steve Ewin, same kind of passion
It's sad that they killed the cats. I thought they would be caught and relocated.
Relocating them to another place in the wild is extremely irresponsible, as cats are a massive detriment to any foreign environment. What makes it harder is that these aren't the average feral cat - They've had no human interaction in their life. It would be hard if not impossible to tame them, so rehoming into captivity isn't really a viable option either. I do agree the method in which they killed them is very unfortunate, and at best, they should have caught and humanely euthanised them. Unfortunately, that takes more man power, money and time; Not to mention, cats are smart - They'll start to learn to avoid traps. When there's an endangered species on the line, unfortunately you can't always go the most humane route.
Especially when the pest (In this case, the cats) are killing the endangered species in abundance, and for sport/prime meat (meaning they eat the best parts - or don't even eat it at all - and then kill another instead of use all of one animal), rather than survival, like these cats were doing.
@@invalidvulture1408 i think they meant relocate them as in take them to shelters on the mainland
I mean it's no disrespect to compare anyone to Steve Irwin. But that's got to get annoying. Tim is Tim and is doing fantastic in his very Tim way.
My expectation to visit Australia : Everyone has brown sacks of cute animals. And huntsman spiders.
