Excelente video!!!!
Andy: you always do a brilliant job with your videos, and this one is no exception. Thank you for an excellent overview of these Garmin units!
Good video, the 67 is perfect, better quality screen than the 65s but not to big at the same time like the Montana which is like carrying a brick around. I fail to see the point of the Etrex SE myself just seems a pointless model if you get me.
consider all screens are actually a good bit different from each other... I find the etrex32 still the 'sharpest' with the best color contrast...in contrast to higher resolution models when one would think it to be the other way around.
So if you buy the SD card and put into a Montana do you have to change any settings or does the unit recognise the SD card and automatically use it? Or do you have to tell the unit to use it and not the installed maps? Also would you then remove the installed Garmin TOPO maps to improve speed Or copy the pre installed maps to a SD card then delete and use OS SD card instead??
The Garmin units automatically default to maps installed on a micro card over ones preinstalled on the internal storage, we hope this helps, we cover thing like this on our online training and support packages that are included with a GPS device purchase from ourselves, kind regards GPS Training
It’s too bad Garmin doesn’t have a touch screen WITH physical buttons option in their entire lineup. The montana would be an excellent candidate. Touch screen for nice weather and easy planning/zooming, buttons for bad weather.
I totally agree, but we did do an video recently showing how well the Montana screen was in wet weather, you may find it interesting - czcams.com/video/rDzzs_32t_k/video.htmlsi=HiPHy0W4SeXFCFIA
