    It makes me extremely happy for Alex that he is not only skilled, but determined enough to start his CZcams channel, then opening a store, to moving across the world where he now employs people, and now he's teaching and encouraging his craft. Very few people are smart enough to capitalize on not only thei skill, but communication and charisma. And I don't know if he's a US citizen yet, but that the most American thing you can do.

    • @NemoConsequentae
      @NemoConsequentae Před 3 lety +1

      @@Aardvarko Well, he is describing the hashtag, (which is the whole set of characters), just not the octothorpe that begins the tag. So adding the octothorpe, (or hash, hatch, sharp, crunch, or any of the other words for the symbol), to the front of the tag is what makes it a [hash]tag.
      Esteban also knew this & you are actually agreeing with him.

    Leaves are a common project for beginning blacksmiths, and anyone who has ever tried to make one can attest to what a phenomenal display of hammer control this is. Not a strike out of place and exactly as hard as he needs them to be; all those smooth tapers happen so incredibly fast and easy, and even the chisel marks to make the leaf design are all even and nice. I'd get a lot more done if I could hammer like that. I'll get there one day!

That’s why I watch the videos of your fellow CZcamsrs like Bobby Duke, Evan & Katelyn,... That’s also how I discovered your channel. I dont know your location, but if you can find some space to fit a shop vac, some steel pipe (NOT GALVANISED), and some charcoal, you can start forging. Dig a hole to fit the pipe in, drill some holes in it for air, and hook the shop vac up to it. My first "anvil" was a rock for heavy hitting, and a log for fine tuning. You can start for less than 100 bucks, but if you live in a city, that makes it a lot more difficult

    Oh yeah! Thanks Alec!!! Have you considered making dri-fit(or some alternative like fabric) shirts available at some point? Whats the barrier?
