If you build it in the hunched over position that the TG is modeled in and then perch in up on a cliff (you can make one with polystyrene foam) about 4-6 inches tall the two heads will both make sense. Basically the TG will just be looking out forward and the ZD will be lurching over the cliff. Just trying to help you visualize the idea in case you wanted to try. Great job on your videos. The painting tutorials are very helpful. P.S. try reaper minis for more variety in lords.
@NurglesNastiest THAT'S A FANTASTIC IDEA!!! I didn't even think of that, but it's such a simple concept, especially since the torso isn't connected to the legs, like a lot of the new kits are (Skaven, Savage Orcs, even the Ghouls) I'll definitely try it out.
Boy, that kit has really a lot of detail! O.o I really like how that vampire (that would ride the dragon) looks! Too bad I don't collect Vampire Counts.. Can't wait to see the model painted! :D See ya playah!
@Trollfot2000 Thanks! I heard that using the upper body on a Grave Guard lower body works with some minor GS sculping to make a Vampire Lord on foot, although that would mean giving up a Grave Guard model. I suppose a Greatsword lower half may work as well, or any of the Brettonian Knights on foot models. Or, you could put him on a skeleton horse and call it a nightmare, or a regular Brettonian/Empire horse painted in spooky colors =D
@BriansBannister I agree! Haha, that's a great way of putting it. I think that if he had his arms pulled back Wolverine-stye, that would be an interesting pose, especially with the super long talons they gave him. What I love about the ghoul king sculpt are his bat-like ears and bestial features the most!
Tae, I used the extra Vampire along with some Grave Guard legs to make a new Vampire on foot, for my second Vampire Counts army I am going to start. Its going to be all skeletal compared to the almost all Ghoul army I have now. The Grave Guard legs take some fiddling with to ge thte torso to fit, but the finished result is well worth the aggrevation.
ooooo good point! I've seen some fantastic diorama bases with this model! I am glad that with a little creativity and a steady hand for snipping away the rocky bases, you can really alter the whole look of the model.
WarbossTae well there you go. and you have the oppurtunity to use a lot left on the plastic-trees..... I really like this model i have seen him now for the first time, if i find one i take him to i think. Great model.
@bazZy33K Well, I'm glad you found it! I'll definitely zoom in and get lots of detail on the guts for the Warboss Taetorial! Stay tuned, should be out in a few days!
Thats a good point. I know what you mean about the new Swordmasters, just like the Phoenix Guard they are big, bulky, elven but very masculine, as opposed to the older plastic spearmen or bowmen models. Thanks for watching!
That's a great question! I think if you look online and google "warhammer bits" you should get a lot of great companies that specialize in selling pieces of kits for those who don't want to buy whole new ones. I've reliably used bitzbarn, bitzbox and thewarstore in the past, and ebay as well, can be a great deal-finder!
@asjarra Hahaha! Thanks for the compliment! I have so much of them lying around now, and I'm wondering "What the heck am I going to do with all these creepy spooky minis that I don't have armies for?!?"
Hi! To build this Terrorgheist, I think I took 3 or 4 hours, just because of all the small bits, and for all the mold lines and flash that need to be scraped and filed off. Still, if I could do it again, I wouldn't build the whole thing at once, but would keep it in sub-assemblies to paint and then glue together at the end, like my Mortis Engine and Ironblaser =D
oooo interesting, thanks for the input, I agree, looking at the two sculpts, the poses are pretty different, with the ZD rearing back more, and the TG hunched down in a prowling pose. I'm still looking for the easiest way to do it, but this one is pretty tough hahaha
mate i love you i love you i love you, dammed i just bought this kit a week ago. I cant wait fore the how to painted vid my army get soo much boost thks to you matey
So I searched and searched for a magnetized ZD/TG and apparently since the two heads are at such different angle, the best way to model it for magnetization is to put it on an impressively tall base (like a large cliff. I found some guy who is selling his on ebay and he based it on a mausoleum.
Glad you got something out of it! If I could do it again, I’d paint it in subassemblies then build it (like I did for the ogre cannon wagon and the Morris engine), it’s just easier than trying to fit the brush between the ribs hahahaha
I almost missed this video! OMG, I couldn't skip a Warboss Tae video!? That would be,... well,... wrong =P The detail is amazing indeed! The models look 'fresh' and 'crisp' Love the dragon, and can please zoom in more on the guts / anatomy of the dragon when it's painted? Thanks up front! =)
@IVetoYou Let me know if you're able to do it! I'd love to devote the time to figure it out myself, but I remember being so blown out after putting this thing together, I never wanted to see it again lol
@Rang112 It does have a lot of detail! I don't collect Vampire Counts either lol, I still wanted to get the model. I guess I'm more of a collector than a gamer. Latahs, playah!
Ive got one of these dudes still in the wrapping for my VC, Im also going to use the terrorghiest option. Dont care about the rules but it looks so damn good!
The terrogheist is the best variant. I really don't like the ghoul king though. He looks like he's patting the monster on the head and saying "who's a good terrorgheist then? You are, Yes you are, yes you are....." etc.
haha yeah definitely. I'm not a huge fan of magnetising, because i've never really tried it.. have you got any videos on magnetising etc? I'd love to watch some:)
Its an amazing kit, but yeah, unless you magnetize the wings at the shoulder points (as well as the rider), I could see how it would be a pain in the butt to transport!
Hey there! great videos you got! :) just wondering if you found any use for the Vampire Lord bit? is it posible to put him on a base for himself or on a horse? planning on buying the terrorgheist box next time i go into town so it would be great to know ^^
The vampires need to look more elvish, like the high elves. The "new" swordmaster look really tuff, but it is with a special kind of grace and power. Not gay. It's what u mean right? ;D At least it's my opinion XD Nevertheless very nice video and awesome model dude!! Gonna get mine soon XP
@Handegekke I don't know of any good tutorials online...yet (wink, wink, check wallet, confirm I have enough cash to buy a second kit for making a Dragon Zombie, run to car)
A true classic. One of the first giant plastic monsters in Warhammer Fantasy. I loved building and painting him up. Just make sure you do it in subassemblies or you won’t be able to reach a lot of the internal gribbly bits.
Both great kits, with great options for beast and rider. Completely different painting techniques (feathers and bright colors vs bones and exposed muscle, rotting flesh). Unless you’re building a list, I’d just go with whichever looks the most fun to paint!

Thanks very much for the comment! Very fitting for the season, indeed! Hope you enjoyed seeing the painted version!
You can also make somewhat of a diorama base.
Where the skull and backboneparts of the dragon are woven in the ground or something like that.

@KainTLA I know, it just looks so awesome! Giant zombie bat? Are you kidding, GW? I'm so happy they came out with it haha.
Thats a good point. I know what you mean about the new Swordmasters, just like the Phoenix Guard they are big, bulky, elven but very masculine, as opposed to the older plastic spearmen or bowmen models. Thanks for watching!

@simpelekaas Hahaha, no problem! I love the kit, it's amazing in it's scope and I can't wait to get it painted up.
@asjarra Hahaha! Thanks for the compliment! I have so much of them lying around now, and I'm wondering "What the heck am I going to do with all these creepy spooky minis that I don't have armies for?!?"
Man that thing looks awesome! Avery fitting model for the season. I am looking forward to seeing your painted version.

@Vairosaen Ha! Good point! My depth perception working the camera one-handed and trying to keep it steady gets me all messed up lol
oooo interesting, thanks for the input, I agree, looking at the two sculpts, the poses are pretty different, with the ZD rearing back more, and the TG hunched down in a prowling pose. I'm still looking for the easiest way to do it, but this one is pretty tough hahaha

I thought your gekko might have knocked your ghoul king over :P. Cant wait to see the painting taetorial
@Lostsoul1889 "I'm Batman!" That's a great idea for the dragon skull! Thanks for the suggestion, I love it!
YES! The Ghoul King is AMAZING!!!

@BluePit864 Hahaha! Yeah, Bela Lugosi just epitomized the "suave, yet terrifying bestial monster" for me as a boy. Great minds think alike!
thanks I didnt know where to put the hair bit

@TheCelsork Haha! It's a fantastic model. Creepy giant zombie bat? Yes, please!
Man that model is awesome, thank you for the video. I dont play fantasy and i want one of those,
I almost missed this video! OMG, I couldn't skip a Warboss Tae video!? That would be,... well,... wrong =P

@ChaosBroodLord YES! Zombie Dragon and Giant Zombie Bat, together again for the first time!
Getting one of these, maybe i will post video updates for Spookytoberfest 2012. great vid.
Very cool! Definitely post updates! Spookytoberfest could always use more giant terrifying undead creatures!
@Rang112 It does have a lot of detail! I don't collect Vampire Counts either lol, I still wanted to get the model. I guess I'm more of a collector than a gamer. Latahs, playah!

@Cabilis66 Ha! I wish that gecko would come back out and visit. I haven't seen him since that video lol maybe the Dark Eldar scared him away.
haha yeah definitely.
@Handegekke just picked it up from my hobby store! =D
I'm SO tempted to get this. But transporting it around would suck :(
Hey there! great videos you got! :) just wondering if you found any use for the Vampire Lord bit? is it posible to put him on a base for himself or on a horse? planning on buying the terrorgheist box next time i go into town so it would be great to know ^^

Got it! love the ghoule king!
agree with the vampire head comment. FFS make it look handsome like vampire dairies, damon.
+chincwcn Hahaha!
the thing with head I don't agree I'm not saying he is "handsome" but really who cares that's what makes him scary and cool
but he is ugly
@kruellag It is!
this one is going to be a pain in the ass 2 paint
@WarbossTae omg no way :P well add it to you long TODO list for me ;) , will just have to wait for your how to paint then hehe , tnx! ;)
Definitely thinking of picking this kit up, does it still live up to the hype?
A true classic. One of the first giant plastic monsters in Warhammer Fantasy. I loved building and painting him up. Just make sure you do it in subassemblies or you won’t be able to reach a lot of the internal gribbly bits.
@@WarbossTae OK, thanks! Trying to get this kit up against a gryphon :)

Anyone known a good guide for the zombie dragon version?
@WarbossTae LoL , if you really got it, then your my fav. youtubber of all time ;)
It won't let me post the link though.
bro the thing with head bro dude really I know a lot more about warhammer than you
