As an EXTREMELY small artist. I think what she’s doing is 115% wrong. Once she entered, it was stacked against everyone else, everyone else who NEEDS exposure to advance. And she already has hella exposure at her fingertips. She’s wrong for this….

when i found out there was a cash prize that kind of solidified in my mind that it was unfair for her to enter. she's been gloating on social media about how she'll never have to work again when other artists are probably choosing between their art and their next meal/paying rent. that $10,000 should 100% go to a truly undiscovered artists, not Gabbie who lives in a multimillion dollar mention whose music is struggling not because she is undiscovered but because she was ignorant and harmful online one too many times.
super good point. I have a friend who's having to cancel their tour that they've been planning for months because their band's bassist just go evicted and it's genuinely not possible for them to go, that type of money would change their lives.

No fucking way Gabby is in this contest… it IS for small artists as much as it’s advertised not to be. A band local to me on the east coast entered last year and they came close, but in the semi final were beaten by someone who bought out votes within the last 30 minutes…influencers ruin things like this for everyone involved

It's not technically foul play, but imo it's pretty selfish and not very considerate. Legality and morality overlap like a Venn diagram, but they're not synonymous. I say this one is "legal" (per the rules of the contest) but Gabbie had the opportunity to do better and didn't

She lives in her own world man, in her world, she is a small artist, or the worlds greatest performer, or the wokest person, well you get it, anything in her own world goes. She only chooses to listen to those who support her because everyone else does not know what they are talking about or are not woke like she is. Due to that, she only sees positive comments are correct, inflating her ego even more. We can't make people do things . It is unfair . Me being an actual musician in a Rock and Roll band . She started doing music not because she wanted to because she saw the opportunity to make more money from her audience. She is already Famous which give her the advantage again Using her audience against other people. People who actually take the time to rehearse multiple times a week and play shows and go on tour for virtually no one and for someone who has literally triple the audience some one like me and my band don't and actually have to work hard for an audience and gain the resect for people in our industry. It's annoying as fuck! Let people who actually do music Do music and not come in here being like * yeah I do Music * And don't play shows don't go on tour don't release music don't write music. ECT ECT !

She should not be entering a competition when she already has such a large platform and didn't really have to go through the struggle of trying to gain an audience with just music alone with limited resources, the purpose of the competition is for small artists to get their name out there... and her name is already everywhere I don't understand why "influencers" think they can just evade spaces that are already hard to come by, and make things so much harder difficult for the average person to just considered for an opportunity

I think she’s just trying to go viral and others are now claiming they had the same thing happen because of the bandwagon effect. 1:20 that's not how bought likes work lmao as much as I HIGHLY dislike Gabbie.. when someone buys likes or subscribers/followers, basically it's the place their buying from that have all of the fake accounts. THOSE are the accounts used to sub/like. They don't just somehow make random actual people magically be following someone lol like the actual platform would have to be involved for that to happen. Which I guess is possible but why would they even take a dumbass risk like that when it's their platform lmao like they could make countless of fake accounts for that.
I did have a weird thing happen back when Dramageddon 2 happened.. I was never subbed to James Charles ever at any point, never watched any of his videos, and then after the Bye Sister thing got turned around and everyone started believing James's buIIshit, I started seeing tons of people claiming that they somehow were subscribed to James and that a bunch of his videos were liked that they never even watched. So naturally I search his channel just to see and I WAS SUBSCRIBED 😶
And, again, I would think that that would have to be CZcams themselves doing it. I also discovered that a bunch of Shane's old conspiracy videos were no longer liked when I know 100% that I watched and liked them before (this was before all that sht came out about shane and I wad an avid watcher of his conspiracy videos)
So idk.. I guess we can't rule anything out 🤷♀️ but still I don't think Gabbie is buying likes lmao

As a musician with next to no audience, seeing Gabbie Hanna enter this contest KNOWING she will win because of her followers is absolutely awful and so disappointing. She's actively taking away the opportunity for an artist to start a career for themselves by doing this just so that she has a gig and gets paid. And the way she's responding to people just proves that she doesn't give a single sh*t about how damaging her attitude is towards other musicians/artists/bands growing their own careers. I hate her with every fibre of my being I can't lie.

The fact Gabbie, a 32 year old woman, thinks that she can use a small artist contest to launch her into superstardom is absolutely comical. She wants to be level-Ariana Grande with the voice of a drunk Fergie...Too bad she doesn't realize that most female superstars are groomed from childhood. Her chance is long gone and her reputation precedes any 'big break' she fantasizes about. Even if she wins and plays the Hollywood Bowl, they're just going to shove her in a green room 3 floors down from any headliner (if she's lucky enough) and she'll scream her music in front of rows of other rich ppl who will absolutely not appreciate it. Okay so- competitions, like this one, bank entirely on numbers and call them votes. Right? But the polls are just bound to be skewed/tampered with especially when the criteria is vague this situation. In print it says that any "Indie artist" can enter for their big break. I'm almost positive Hana had a manager or someone looking out for competitions just like this. Call it a conspiracy or whatever but what are the odds that she has a bunch of other entries for smaller competitions like this so that she can just get her name out to anyone that has no idea who she is. It's the great reset. She wants to shy so far away from the negative light she put herself in and then turn it into some sort of blip in the past that got her to the "successful" career she has today. It's wack.
Like she knows what shes doing but will never admit that shes in the wrong. Her actions are in compliance with the fine print of the event BUT still being morally deviant

@@smaugkat body checking is usually a thing people with EDs do to themselves. I haven't seen her videos doing it specifically, but I'm assuming Bug means she's been doing that. It's not a malicious thing (it's related to addiction and mental health) but it's damaging for other people to see, so I'm guessing tiktok doesn't allow it.

I am really hoping I am wrong with this theory because I was actually happy to see that Gabbie was staying off drama and focusing on her music in a genuine way. But I saw a couple of tweets with this theory as well. When I saw she said she was banned from tik tok, but everyone could still see it, and then said that she actually just couldn't log in and wasn't bothered and was telling people to go to the other tik tok account. At the same moment she was starting to be called out for entering the contest. A part of me was like "I sincerely hope she isn't lying about her being banned or not being able to log in. So she can have people go to the other account. Where she now has not even 5k followers. So if she gets into trouble with the people who are organizing the content, she can say "no but I don't have a huge following anymore look, only 5k people came to 2 my new account". I really. Really hope I am wrong because that would be really fucked up.
