    The epidemic is racism...not autism.

    Edited to add: thank you SO much for touching in so many facets of the autism discussion...and for speaking abt 'treatment' as supports. Autistic people don't need to be fixed, or made 'normal'.

      Sianifairy- So true. The epidemic is racism, not autism. Racism is destroying Black people, not autism.....

    I'm a grandmother ,my grandson is autistic he's loveable happy and love hugs.I'm still learning his way and how he feels about certain things. My grandsons love bake chocolate chip cookies in a brown bag. When they see grandma with a brown bag they know it's a treat .They have a big smile, while reaching in the bag to get a cookie. I enjoyed your interview in reference to autism.

    Thank you so much this has really encouraged me. My son is autistic and we didn't find out til he was 17. He is 19 now and it gets so hard at times for.The change in his life.
