We've all seen people throwing away old fences right? I'm always trying to think of new creative ideas of recycling and repurposing things before they just add to a garbage dump. This desk was my latest idea I had been envisioning for a couple years, but just didn't have the time to try it out. When I saw a gap in my schedule, I looked on Craigslist for free wood fence panels, and it turned out that one of my close neighbors was tearing his down, and needed it gone asap. So I decided to give this experiment a go, and I'm so glad it worked out! Although I usually prefer more of flat or satin finish, I really wanted to showcase the contrast between what could've been trash, and what ended up becoming a high end shiny piece of furniture. Haha, yeah I understand. I have music and narration in my other videos. But I realized some of my favorite videos don't have music or talking, just watching the work and hearing the sounds, so I thought I'd do that. I understand not everyone enjoys that. Wood conditioner. It's good for soft woods, to keep the stain from being really blotchy, gives it a more even color
