When exposed to prolonged heat, the elderly are more susceptible to dehydration and heat-related illnesses, like heat stroke. I use cooling towels for me & my mom it helps to stay cool & refresh the cloths with water. It is surprising how quickly they dry.

I'm not quite a "senior" yet (I don't think, barely under 60...) but as I've gotten older I've noticed I don't feel hot when it's warm out. When I was younger I would feel uncomfortable when physically active in hot weather. Now I can mow the lawn in 90 degree weather and it feels just fine to me. So maybe that's a danger, not even feeling hot and thinking everything is fine.

I agree that it could be dangerous. If you don't feel the heat, please make sure you're drinking enough when it's hot out. And get into the shade periodically (or wear a hat in the sun). Thanks for watching! :)
