  • OEM upper model Toyota Tundra LED door illumination parts installed successfully into our limited 2022 tundra! I hope this helps you to install your own lights in your tundra! It was really hard getting all of these part numbers together, so if this helps you please let me know in the comments! Here are all the part numbers for a CrewMax Cab 3rd Gen Tundra or 2023+ Toyota Sequoia:
    Driver Front:
    Trim Light: 810800C200
    Tray Light: 810800C040
    Passenger Front:
    Trim Light: 810800C030
    Tray Light: 810800C040
    Driver Rear:
    Trim Light: 810800C220
    Tray Light: 810800C050
    Passenger Rear:
    Trim Light: 810800C210
    Tray Light: 810800C050
Dash Lights (Not Installed in Video, and not confirmed fitment):
    Light strip: 810800C190
    Light "controller" ?: 810800C160
** small note on install for rear doors ** - We didn't record the rear doors but install was practically the same for the front and very easy. We did have to trim one of the plastic tabs on the new trim light to get it to fit but was very self explanatory and ensured proper fitment. If you have any questions on wiring or on the installation, don't hesitate to reach out.

Good vid for someone like me who is experienced. If you are looking to draw in the inexperienced, I would recommend having someone film you doing the work from start to finish.
Good job on recommending having replacement clips on hand. Most probably don't realize how easy it is to break plastic clips of all kinds. Also, thanks for linking to those wiring pins. Made the watch worth it for me as I keep forgetting to search for them and buy some.

The example in the video suggests on the front passenger side #8 red for positive and #1 for ground but based on the wiring diagram the below is correct. I initially tried on my 22 limited with red and gray and it was constantly powered on even when lights switched to off. Pinning like the below will also allow dimming with the factory button for all ambient lighting.
    Front driver
    L6 Harness - black one
    #3 Green = positive
    #13 light blue = negative
    Front passenger
    K6 Harness - black one
    #3 Light Green = positive
    #1 Gray = negative
    Rear driver
    X4 Harness - black one
    #3 Green = positive
    #1 Light Green = negative
    Rear passenger
    W4 Harness - black one
    #3 Green = positive
    #1 Light Green = negative

      @wolfpackmedia805  Před 7 měsíci +1

Great question! To make it easier on yourself yes you need both. The tray light comes with the wiring and clips you need to install the trim light. You could do the wiring yourself without the clip but I think that would be very tricky.

I have a 2023 Platinum with these accent lights installed at the factory. The light on the front passenger door has a darker (dimmer?) area centered about 6" from the rear part of the light. It's about 3-4" wide. I've had it to the Toyota dealer twice now trying to fix it with no luck so far. They replaced the light assembly and that didn't work. When I took it back, they said they did some kind of "adjustment" to it, and it was slightly better, but it's still got the dim area. I paid $75K for this truck, so I expect that these lights should look like yours do. Any ideas on how I can fix this myself?

    • @wolfpackmedia805
      @wolfpackmedia805  Před 6 měsíci +2

I actually had this same issue on first install but didn’t notice it till later. The dimmer area is in the exact same spot. I opened up the door again and twisted/repositioned the light just a tad. I also added a small bit of foam on the top of the light (right where it was dim) to push the light closer to the gap in the trim where the light comes out. Once I put the door back together it looks way better. Not perfect but better. I think the part itself might have a defect from factory? I really appreciate you commenting on this though. If I hear of anyone else having this issue I will do another video about it.
