Lancel created the White Walkers by breeding orcs with children of the forest. The result was the abomination called the Night King. Lancel wanted him on the Iron Throne because Lancel was half Stark, half Bolton. He wanted eternal northern winter in Kings Landing. This was why he created the White Walkers. Sansa was his mother, Roose his bio-father. He posed as a Lannister but it was all a charade. Varys was his useful idiot, completely clueless. He actually thought he had power. Tyrion was a discarded unwanted child of Tywin and a Dohtraki female. The Dohtraki wanted to sacrifice Tyrion to a fake deity who had a pedophile warmongering psychopath as some sort of savage imbred prophet. But Tywin made sure he got a decent upbringing on Tattooine. Jabba took him under his whaleblobber and raised a fine man. A small man but fine. Little did Tywin know, his unwanted lustful drunken son had mad brain power. And a lot of charisma. The only thing he lacked was his brothers pretty face and 18 inch penis. Cercei didnt love Jaime but she loved his penis. She did not like that he was faster than Lucky Luke in bed. So she turned to Lancel instead. He had 4 inches but he was a lot more endurant and creative in bed than the slayer of Kings and unprepared vagina.
Bran influenced the midichlorians to create life. He put all his Force powers into creating 3 dragons. He was not pleased with how slow acceleration they had. "It will be their doom," Bran said repeatedly in A Song of Ice and Fire: The Dragons are Not Up To Snuff.
The 14th and final novel will be released august 4th. I can reveal the title so SPOILER ALERT:
A Song of Ice and Fire Volume 14: Sansa Has A Crush On Jon Snow, That Is Why She Loathed The Entitled Feminist who Didn`t Deserve Jorah the slayer of bears and maker of pelts. The final novel, maps excluded, will be 22.071 pages long. George R.R.Martin said it was finished in 1987, around the same time Guns N Roses released the amazing album Appetite For Destruction. I agree will Martin, All The Small Things is the best song on that wonderful album.

People forget that by book 3, Balon died as well. The show runners just kind of forgot about Balon (which is unsurprising given their track record) so he got put off until season 6. The line “just now kings are dying like flies” spoken by Tyrion after news of the Red Wedding reaches King’s Lansing doesn’t make as much sense. In ASoS, Robb and Balon died in very close proximity, whereas in the show . . . it’s just Robb? Yes Renly was killed but much earlier on.
Also they’re saying the war ended by Joffrey and Margarey’s wedding, as if Balon just fucked off when in theory he should still be around.

See, Varys wanted to put Robb Stark on the Iron Throne because he knew he would be a good ruler. And under him Varys could manipulate his naive and suicidal sense of honor to take what his heart truly desired; Sansa. He was not a eunuch. There never really was a "War of Five Kings". Instead, there were three concurrent, but separate wars:
    1. The War of Baratheon Succession, a three-way conflict between Joffrey (and, later, Tommen) and his two uncles, all claiming to have inherited the Iron Throne after Robert's death. This war ended with Stannis's death and Tommen's victory.
    2. The Northern Rebellion, a war of independence for the North and the Riverlands. This war seemingly ended with Robb Stark's death, but was later continued by the Black Fish and Jon Snow until the latter virtually abdicated as King in the North and swore fealty to Queen Daenerys. Eventually, the North (but not the Riverlands) gained independence through diplomatic means (that is, Sansa asking Bran to let her be Queen in the North).
    3. The Second Greyjoy Rebellion, a war of independence for the Iron Islands and Ironborn conquest of the North. This war practically ended when the Boltons killed all the Ironborn in the North. After Balon's death, both claimants of the salt throne gave up that claim as soon as they could, Euron to Cersei and Yara to Daenerys.

No there was a War of the Five Kings because all the kings somewhat declared war on each other. Stannis had only fought Renly and Joffrey but he was also enemies of Robb Stark and Balon Greyjoy just never got on the battlefield against them. Balon had only fought Robb (indirectly) but he also was an enemy of the Lannisters and the Baratheons. Joffrey was against all of them aswell. The only kings that didn't declare War on each other were Robb and Renly and that was because they were in talks of alliance.

If Cercei and the sparrows taught us anything then it's that fanatics shouldn't get too close to power. Renly would've really been a better king. Maybe there would've been some Tyrell influence but then again the Tyrells were brilliant rulers. I could imagine worse Kingdoms than one ruled by Olenna and Margaery Tyrell.

We know they all have their own claims as a King (except those Greyjoys), but they brought death upon themselves:
    1. Renly - Poor claim to the Iron Throne, should have taken Stannis' offer. Stannis was old, not the type to sleep with other women, unlikely he will have a male heir.
    2. Rob - A talented battle commander. In a summary, an extremely poor politician and too naive, plus letting Cat to cause discord within his bannermen by letting Jaime escape and whatnot.
    3. Joffrey - no explanation needed. Dude deserves it.
    4. Stannis - A true heir to the Iron Throne by right of succession. In the show, the only downside because he let the Red Priestess influencing him too much to the point of murdering his daughter and using magic to kill Renly (although one can argue Stannis preventing the lost of many lives in the upcoming war).. Not so much in the book though, where he is still alive.
    5. Balon - The Greyjoys and the Ironborn are always plagued with stupid life choices. Euron had to kill him at one point or another to start with his plan.

Out of all the King/Queen deaths, I'll never get tired of watching Joffrey fucking chocking and dying. And the saddest was Tommen's death (Even it doesn't show it in this video)

In Renly's case couldn't she just show the guards that here sword has no blood on it? She murdered those men that were just doing their job...

Someone has to point out that the 5th King in the actual war is technically Mance Rayder. Renly died before Balon declared himself King, and even Cersei says that Mance is the 5th, and Tywin is open to negotiating with him, meaning even though he wasn't necessarily contending for the iron throne, he was still a participant in the war.

How come during Joffrey and Margery’s wedding they act as if the War of the Five Kings is over, as if Balon and Stannis aren’t still alive and a threat? I honestly think the show would have been better off killing Stannis after the Battle of the Blackwater considering he does absolutely nothing after season 2

    • @alexandergladkov3270
      @alexandergladkov3270 Před 4 lety +3

At this war, Balon was never a threat to the Lannisters or any south lords, and even in the books Stannis stopped being a threat after the battle of the Blackwater, that's why he went north to gain support there.

In the third book, Balon died before Robb and Tywin was creating an attack plan to besiege Dragonstone. A few chapters later in that same book, Joffrey died. With Joffrey dead, Stannis was thinking about sacrificing Edric Storm until Davos saved the boy and convinced Stannis of a greater threat. Before the assault was ready, Stannis left Dragonstone for The Wall.

Just realized that Catelyn Stark witnessed the death of 2/5 Kings - Renly and her son, Robb.
Also, Sansa was near for the death of the next 2 - witnessed the death of Joffrey AND because Brienne was at Winterfell for her, aided indirectly in the death of Stannis.
And Balon, the one who literally invaded the North died randomly to a Greyjoy with no Starks near / witnessing it.

  • @kaytannollinenrautakanki1640

So if you think about it... Balon won? Since he was the last one to be alive of those five

I don't particularly care about Renly but even to this day I think his death was bullshit. He had the biggest army, was perfectly positioned and had the most resources. GrrM needed to get rid of him but he was put in such an advantageous position they had to come up with the super op unavoidable tracking shadow baby monster to make it happen
