“Beautiful burnout”..........only 1 tire was spinning, back to the warehouse stocking shelves for this guy.
Wanted to save the tread on the other 3
Should’ve set the locker!
Guys an amateur , it’s a platinum so you know it has an e locker . I’d be embarrassed to video a one wheel peel in a truck that has an e locker ..
As if a burnout was supposed to prove it was a good tire?
I knew I couldn't be the only one to think "lock the diff".
Yup they're tires. That's about all I got from your burnout and noise tests lmfao.
That’s about all you get from a Custom Offset video. I don’t think their target market comes to them for actual test data and reviews.
You guys should do a video of the nicest trucks with the New Toyo AT3 Tires from your gallery! It would be interesting! Looking forward to that!
“Quiet up until 40mph”... Oh that’s great, because I just cruise around neighborhoods all day doing burnouts... This is hardly a review.
That’s quite a bit to say if you’ve tried enough tires
With those glasses, he is lurking by the grade schools.
lmao
This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about these tires are quiet up to around 65 to 70 then they give a slight hum unlike the AT2 that are quiet throughout the entire speed range.
@@thejourneymen7722 I have the AT3s on my 2020 F150, and they definitely don't have any substantial noise until you get up around 70 or so. So far, I'm pretty satisfied with their performance. No issues in the snow, and they've made their way through some pretty soft sand out on the beach. I had the AT2s on my 08 Expedition, and I would have to agree with you. At speed, the AT2s were definitely the quieter tire. Can't go wrong with either one, in my opinion. Quality tires for a relatively decent price.
I was actually hoping for more all round performance reviews, instead get one drive street review and it looks cool.
Awesome review! Definitely going to get a set after my Nitto G2s start to bald. Would be cool to see a review in some off road conditions and wet wether conditions as well sometime.
Great. An all terrain tire review that never left the pavement. Worthless
Exactly! Three and ahalf minutes of babbling, and about 60 seconds of how it rides on the pavement. Plus - burning out an expensive tire. Stupid.
That’s because these guys only care about looks.
And a fk’n ford Turing over one back tire 😂
Just got a set put on my 2011 F250 work truck yesterday after having Duratracs on them for most of its life. Haven’t done anything with them yet but they look promising. 285/70/17
These all terrain tires look great. Like you I'm planning on getting them and never taking them off road. How do they fare when you hit the curb going through the McDonald's drive-thru?
LOL
That's funny😂😂😂😂😂
I love mine. I have had them for a few months and I am not kidding, they show no signs of wear. Are great in the rain. And really give me confidence in my lifted superduty
Thanks for sharing!!
I highly reccomend them. Well worth the money. I got the F class for towing.
Have abt 3k on mine on a 2500 d max I like them so far and no sign of wear
How about a little info on how the truck is set up? Leveled? Wheel set up. Offset?
Can we get a Toyo AT3 vs the Falken AT3W please?
What sets Toyo’s apart from BFG’s and Goodyear’s is how true they spin, and how little weight they call for when balancing. Truck tires mounted on stock wheels don’t cause a lot of issues, but if you want a “custom offset” look, there’s a major difference. You can’t get a high quality, dual plane balance on a lot of after market wheels with big lips, so you need a high quality tire that requires very little weight to balance. That’s huge. I’ve spent the last 22 years trying to make your trucks ride smooth on the highway. You can only do so much when your tire wants excessive weight, and limited on where you can stick the weights. Toyo wins every time. Although the AT2 was terrible for wet and winter traction. Hopefully that’s where the AT3 is improved.
At2 terrible wet traction? Don't run a 12.5 when your rear axle weighs 2300lbs and you make 500+lb torque. Or you run a soft compound tire that won't last 50k.
@@JVR-gd7zw I was referring to stock sizes, and years of customers wanting them siped because they weren’t satisfied with the traction. Awesome tire otherwise.
@@JVR-gd7zw what are some good soft compound tires want some for my truck
Finally something on the new toyo at3’s, I’m gonna stuff the new 37x12.50 onto my leveled super duty🤙🏼
Mark Crawford yea I’m sure there are other reviews on the AT3, I’m just referring to seeing something on the CO channel.
My previous set were the AT2’s and they’re terrible in the rain. Even if the pavement was just wet, the tires would slip at take off. Now I have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and these tires handle much better on wet pavement and light rain but sucks under heavy rain. I may try the AT3’s for my next set. Sounds promising after the improvements. I live in the PNW so you know it rains like 9 months out of the year here with the occasional snow.
Live in the PNW as and I've never found a good tire in the rain yet.
@@xrrrismickey Lol when you do find the right tires, please let me know.
What's the setup on this rig...rims tires and leveling kit?
Have them on my PowerWagon and they have done great in the Western Mountians for past 10K miles
Would these be good for a 3/4 ton van ?
What’s the suspension, and tire size on this truck? Looks good!
I have these. They do seem pretty quiet. Ride quality is fine. But traction in rain... is the worse I’ve ever experienced in any vehicle.
“ AT3 will become available in Canada 🇨🇦 late December , early 2021 “ direct statement from Toyo Canada when I called them directly
But you've guys have already had a 3pms rated ATII for a while now
You can order them through 4 wheel parts in Canada and get them now!
@@PolarBear00777 I'd like to see the pricing difference between CO (with customs, duty, tax) and 4WD.
I've been planning to get from CO, and pick up from the US (when the border reopens), if the savings is good enough.
Canadian companies are overcharging the US/Can exchange rate.
@@nemesis851_ I am currently looking at a set of LT255/80R17 for my Sierra, web price is $272 a tire before rebates, which I feel is a very fair price!
Snow ❄️ will be the test for me
Agreed.
Live in Northwestern Montana by Glacier National park rocking these this winter.. they're doing just fine
These tires are absolutely legit in snow. I'm running LT 285/75 R17s on my 2020 F150, and so far they've handled all the white stuff mother nature has been throwing down in the north east without issue. Noisier on dry pavement than a highway tire? Yup. Do I care? Not even a little bit. I'll take a bit of noise in exchange for solid traction and performance when winter sets in on the rust belt. I can't say as of now how they perform off road, but come spring time, I expect they'll be fine on the sandy beaches I frequent for fishing. So far, I'm not at all regretting purchasing these tires.
So I’ll throw in my two cents. Got a set on my (well maintained) second gen 4Runner not long ago. Road noise is pretty typical for an AT tire. It’s acceptable for what it is in my opinion. Very good traction off road and in snow for majority of daily driver/weekend warrior type of applications. Not a pure mud tire and not an arctic exploration tire. Very nice blend of good all around but not spectacular at one particular type of terrain kind of tire. I’d buy another set without question.
BEST AT TIRE ON THE MARKET FOR SNOW AND ICE . HAVE 48,737 MILES ON THEM AND STILL HAVE 55-60 % TREAD LEFT.
These are hand down best tires you can get for a pick up. Canadian here and last year had a month of -35 Celsius and its like having tiger claws rip into the roads ! I've had every tire you can think of on all sorts of trucks .
Only downside is the price !! Almost 400$ Canadian a tire !!! Have they lost there damn minds
Better than KO2 ?
Hi, I'm in Canada as well. $400 per tire?! Not sure which size you're searching for, but I got a set of 5 from BlackCircles for $1450 shipped.

Thanks for the review. Recently, I had Toyo Open Country AT3's installed on my 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD and I HATED them! With the Toyo's, my truck would literally bounce all over the road creating a very uncomfortable ride. After 2 rebalances within a couple of weeks of owning the Toyo's, they still rode like crap. So, I gave them back and switched to the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's. Wow, the ride quality was like night and day. I couldn't be more pleased with the Cooper tires and highly recommend them to anyone who drives a HD truck and does any towing.
Got them on my 17 denali hd , smooth even when towing
You need to use the e-locker that came with the truck, you will look some what cooler doing burnouts!
Likin the tread. Wish the sidewall was a bit more aggressive.
I’ve been going back and forth between these, the Cooper Rugged Trek, the Cooper AT3 4S, and the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. So far I’m liking these the best. I’m a fan of Cooper Tires and I won’t use anything else for all season, but the Rugged Trek is too new (seems like there are mixed opinions so far) and the sidewall looks kind of cheesy, also the tread looks more mud terrain. AT3 4S is solid but I want something more aggressive, it looks like an SUV tire, not a truck tire. Would probably go with the ridge grapplers if I could find them in non LT for 265/70R17, I don’t want LT because I don’t want to sacrifice the ride quality of my GX. Also they are pricy. These seem good and a buddy of mine told me they are pretty quiet. Price isn’t horrible either.
And no, Duratracs are out of the question, the ones on my buddys taco are very loud.
You could only chose 1..... ridge grapplers, these in the video or bfgoodwich all terrain ko2?
So helpful!
I'll probably end up getting the Falken Wildpeak AT3W for my Sequoia 275-65-18 here in New Jersey, they seem to be the best for the rain and snow, who knows,we'llsee...
what a nice looking tire. refreshing to see after seeing so many KO2
Satan worshipper! You are everywhere! Be gone!!
How do they stand up Driving 80mph plus? Thats the speed limit here...I have a Tundra. Had Great luck with Sailun Terramax lt 10ply handling the high speeds.
Hows the toyo going to hold up?? I got 60 000 miles on my set and looking at new tires.. but do i want to switch brands.. mmmm
can you get these tires in a LT245 /75R16
So which should I go with, these or the Wildpeaks AT3 in a 285/75/16. Mostly road, but want good snow and wet traction.
I got the Toyo 285/75/17's, mostly because they were $65/tire less than the Falkens. But for wet I think the Toyo's are going to be better in wet conditions.
do they have them in LT245/75R16?
Like how Lawson tried to hide your 1 tire burn out. 😂😂
I have these on my frontier. They ride great
What load rating did you go with? I'm looking for a set to put on my 1st gen tacoma, @ only 3400lbs I'm thinking an E rated tire will be too stiff.
I wish they would offer this in a 37x12.50x17. I would like to go with these over the ridge grapplers.
It’s really surprising that they don’t. Seems like a pretty common tire size.
I decided on the Yoko X-AT until I found out I couldn't fit 37s
*for the purpose of your search.
Opinion on these new at3 vs nitto ridge grapplers for tread life on mostly highway and do great in snow?
I'm currently running the at3. Haven't seen any snow yet but just wondering as I have almost went with the ridge grapplers
I'm in the same spot. Deciding between these and Ridge Grapplers OR Cooper Discover AT3 XLT
@@jpvcwby I decided to try out the cooper at3 xlt instead. So far I'm still very impressed with the at3 from toyo. I just wanna compare the 2. I heard nitto ridge grapplers suck ass in the snow and the cooper at3 xlt is great in the snow plus handle great in all weather conditions. I dont go playing in the mud anyway in this. She's a pavement princess besides playing in the snow. My 2008 Tacoma, 94 probe gt, and 98 jeep went in mud tho lol.
For strictly highway driving would you recommend this over the ridge grapplers??
That would be a good choice!
@@CustomOffsetsTV why would you choose the Toyo Open Country A/T III over the Nitto Ridge Grappler for highway driving?
Is it to much to ask that Toyo puts the side wall from the MT on all of there truck tires!? 😂
Yeah cuz its not a mud tire😂
For anyone still curious about the wheel and tire size in this video, the wheels are 20 x 10 with - 25 offset and the tires are 33/12.50r20.
I know this as I've seen another video put out by thy wheel mfr featuring this truck that has the wheel size in the title and I was able to freeze frame on the tire size.
Does this help protect the rim?
I totally love mine. I’ll probably never put another mt on my truck. I can hear again. An great mileage with my duramax gmc. Love the AT3.
Also had the AT2 with no problem on a different truck. I was not scared to buy the AT3 after having the at2 several years back.
Definitely a great all around do everything tire.
How is the wet handling? that was my only beef with the ATIIs. Love the long treat life, i 've got 80k on my current set and there is still a ton of usable tread.
For some reason I still like the look of the AT2’s.
I am interested in these tires as well as the Nitto Ridge grappler’s. I was wondering if you could tell me which ones would be quieter on the highway?
I second this question. Going between these, the Nitto RGs or the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Mostly highway driving but want the AT look
I drove my brothers truck from Memphis to Ohio with the ridge grapplers and don't remember ever hearing them.
@@jonesoutdoors9901 yeah I ended up going with the Ridge Grapplers. I can barely hear them over my exhaust, and that's if I really try. I'm happy I went with the RGs, they're quiet and just as smooth as my highway tires were. Excellent tires all around
Nice one wheel peel bro. 👌
@customoffsets AT3's or Ridge Grapplers
Anyone have experience with this tire in the snow?
What ply are these?
Toyo Tire Corporation (TOYO TIREトーヨータイヤ株式会社, TŌYŌ TAIYA Kabushiki-gaisha) is a tire and rubber products company based in Japan. and Nitto tire is the sister company
But they do have a manufacturing plant here in Bartow County, Georgia
Japanese tires made un USA 1:08
Headquarters is Itami, Hyogo, Japan
How loud are they on-road and at high speeds? thinking about getting these on a SUV that off-roads occasionally and wanna know how these compare to premium all-seasons?
All terrains tend to be quieter on highway and do well with road manners!
mine no problem at 80mph and noise not an issue.
I have a set and I love them. Also, where is Fuller?
He is living a more private life right now and and pursuing a dream of his man! 🙏
Would you recommended these over the BFG KO2?
YES i have already seen a few others say this tire was all around better..i think this is the best tire out there!! then the nitto grappler
Whats that wheel and tire set up boys ?!
How do these tires perform compare to the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T?
Quite comparable!
This is the type of tire we need in a 325/45r24, 315/50r24, 37x13.50r24.
I have the 37 RT' s and absolutely love them. They wear like iron!
How do they handle in the rain? Drove on a set of BFG KO2's and they were disappointing to say the least. Currently running Falken Wildpeaks and they are noticeably better but could be better.
They handle well in the rain!
@@CustomOffsetsTV I'll second that. Been very happy with them. As long they last over 65k I'll be happy. The at2s on a light 4 runner barely lasted 30k. Was highly disappointed and was gonna buy bfg ko2 until I thought I'd give toyo 1 more try with these.
jacob wyatt weird we get abt 65-70k out of at2’s on 2500 d maxes .. got a set of at3’s to see how they are abt 3k miles on them now
I have KO2s 35x12.5/20 on my ram 1500 as they are getting older they absolutely suck in the rain actually scary bad!
Hey guys, I have a 2020 expediton max on stock 22 inch rims. What would be the biggest size mud tire I can go with without lift..... your channel is 👍 joe
We do not specialize in stock wheels, but I bet if you search forums you’ll find what others were able to fit! 🤘
33x12.5x22 that’s what discount tire told me I can go with my stock 22 as long as I have it leveled
Ordered 225/60R18 for my 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6 . We shall see how they handle.
Did you get them yet? I want to know how they perform on the highway in dry and wet conditions.
@@jfranco3281 - yeah ! I ordered them through Walmart with free FEDEX shipping to my home. Arrived on time (2 days earlier than “in store pickup “). Balancing and mounting was done off site ( local small tire shop, “cash only” but doing a decent job). They charged me $48 for all 4 wheels - an awesome deal !
So far the tires are great. On a highway (dry) I can go 70-80 mph and Outback handles good.
Yes, tires are noisy, but I don’t drive a Lexus or Caddy. My Outback supposed to get me from home to work , no matter what weather conditions, on time , without spin outs on a wet surface, through the potholes (or a curb, once in a while). I don’t do a heavy off roading , but driving in an urban setting (Chicago) can be challenging.
I’ll find out how they handle the snow tomorrow and after tomorrow. We supposed to get our first snow over 5 inches.
So far I’m happy. Slightly on a pricey side (over $210 per tire ) but still better than some Michelin’s.
They were replacements for 70k old tires that were sliding and extremely “sponge “ on the road. I even considered changing the struts on my Outback. Once I changed the tires, I understand that wasn’t the strut problem- it was a worn out tire problem.
So far I highly recommend them !
@@mar1video I ordered my tires through discount tire, they have arrived to the store but still waiting on a shipment of new wheels I ordered to go with the tires. Hopefully the by the second weekend in January I will have them mounted on the rav 4 hybrid. Impatiently waiting....

I really can’t picture making the at3s any better than the at2s. My at2s have 130k miles on them and they were excellent in every way. Not one complaint. They’re still on my Tacoma but I just got federal xplora a/ps. I have to get them mounted still. Clearance at Walmart 70$ each for 285/70/17s killer deal.
I think these tires perform better with a thinner sidewall. Get bigger wheels, and have them plated gold.
I just got these today for my birthday. Ha
Are these tires quiet ?
Hopefully they are better in the rain than the ATII's. In the rain they had almost no grip and in light snow forget about it . But I will say on the dry pavement they gripped really well and were fairly quiet. Hopefully Custom Offsets got them to fix this.
