Minecraft Redstone Tutorial: Simple Water Elevator for 1.16 (Two-way and Expandable!)

In todays Minecraft Redstone Tutorial, I will show you how to build a simple water elevator for Minecraft 1.16. This elevator can go both ways, with a simple press of a button. Additionally, you can make it go al high as you want! If you would like something like this in your world, this video might be for you!
Materials:
1 soulsand
1 magma
3 sticky piston
1 repeater
2 redstone torch
1 restone dust
2 noteblock
4 observer
5 building blocks
Sidenote: Additional materials will be required to link the top input with the blockswapper

Nevermind... it doesn't work. The second redstone torch doesn't actuate the first sticky piston with the soul sand.

Also the note blocks aren't activating the observers when I hit it.

observers wont place normally for me, the arrow always faces to the block on the side, not down

Okay so I got it to work and I noticed the only thing I really did different was place the second piston directly on the Redstone torch, before I was placing it on the block above but when I placed it directly on the torch it works

It’s because noteblocks can’t have block above, works in Java with a block of air on top of note block
