can you believe I met Kissin once by pure luck? I went into an au bon pain in Boston right next to symphony hall just to get a sandwich, and he was sitting right there! he was performing chopin's e minor piano concerto later that evening :) we talked for a little bit, it was a bit weird and uncomfortable I'm not gonna lie. but I will NEVER forget what his hand felt like when I shook it... like it was made out of rubber or something, and had absolutely no bones in it
Hey Brian, I can totally relate. I shook his hand as well and was shocked that his hand was extremely soft, which was completely unexpected. I will never forget that feeling. 😂
Who says Kissin is missing energy? How silly to say that Chopin is about "frustration"! The way he tears into this piece (and others as wel)l is amazing. He is thoughtful as well in his interpretations, doesn't let one detail slide by, and has excellent technical control.

Brian, how much I envy you to meet him like that!
For me, Kissin is the greatest pianist nowadays!

Best version on Internet. He has got power in his hands!! And he was only 17! Genius.

Kissin makes me feel so warm like I am sitting by the fire and warm my hands and feet
that's literally how I warm myself when winter night I feel cold hands/feet/stomach, or feel lonely.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE

@StephaCicos Yeah yeah. I confused a bit. Thanks for telling me.
キーシンは、きっとピアノを弾くために生まれてきたんだと思う。
