This had been mostly an even series through 3 games - but the Blue Jays did not have the pitching depth to hold off the Twins' lineup and their staff gave out in these last two games. Stottlemyre got shelled here, Candiotti got shelled in the next game, and their setup guy Ward got knocked around in the series as well.
Great to be to watch these games, 91(zion) when was 9 was my first world series really, but I didn't watch Alcs. This is some great baseball, I think Reds 90 and Blue Jays 93 Have a chance to win vs 98 Yankees or Bankees as my brother would say* Jahspeed

I’m curious what did wearing a helmet have to do with fielding? They mentioned multiple times Olerud wearing a helmet wasn’t because of being a bad fielder but I never got the correlation.
Olerud suffered a brain hemorrhage and aneurysm in college, so he wore the helmet even in the field as it would offer slightly more protection from any head injuries than a normal hat would
Stockton and Kaat are snoozesville. Stockton belongs calling some NFL game that never mattered and listening to Kaat speak through his dentures is gross.
@@SlickDonaldRichard-rk94they are better than today, but not nearly as good as what one could expect in that era. I have watched all available old mlb playoff games on youtube. This a weak booth compared to every other vintage booth i have heard.
