I still have a ticket stub from the 65 World Series. I have kept it all these years. My wife lets me display it in a cigar box in the back of my bedroom dresser drawer.

Kirby Puckett was still in his prime when he developed glaucoma, and likely would have had 4 to 6 more highly productive seasons ahead of him, likely reaching 3000+ hits, 300+ home runs, and both 1400+ RBI and RS. Probably the saddest day in MN Twins history, perhaps even more than the day that Sandy Koufax beat the Twins 2-0 in Game 7 of the 1965 WS.
