Thanks for putting pricing here for folks.
This intro was amazing. Great video, thank you.
Intro is from Awaken Realms...
Really detailed and deeply explained video!! Congratulations!!!! Keep Walking with other videos...
Great video as always, very informative, thank you!
Terrain walls sitting on cards that you have to flip even if they print the eye on the walls is a bad design. It’s something I definitely won’t use or need.
Love the look of the miniatures.
Wish there was more color. Everything looks just black and gold.
The color is definitely muted across the game as the world environment would reflect that. Lots of yellows, some bright greens, lots of sepia colors
Great vid - timestamps would be really really helpful! I don't know if they take a long time but they're so helpful for finding what you need! ty
Very insightful and useful first look. I like your presentation style too. Subscribed!
glad it helped
I just alt-tabbed over from a Stalker Call of Pripyat / Miser Mod playthrough. Cool! I'll take a look at this board game.
Thanks a lot, that was very useful!
How was the Terrain to assemble and store? Adds a ton of extra time to setup and box? Big fan of Reichbusters and have been tempted to pick up Wolfenstein during the next super sale at Miniature Market. Plan to watch your previous videos on Wolfenstein.
The terrain came already built in my prototype. I will store it back in the separate box it came with. Its all prototype, so just all stuffed in there. I would assume final terrain will have a good storage and setup solution. I’m hoping, its a 1 time build and then you just get the right part out. I think they could come up with a nested system to store it.
very close to core space minus the scifi aspect/space ships etc. dice everything is exactly like core space. Granted there is a massive amount more of customization in core space better 3d rooms etc but this game is pretty cool I like the cards in this game.
These figures are Sundrop version? What's your opinion about it? It looks better with Sundrop or just uncolored version?
Yes these are the Sundrop look. If you are a miniature painter and you are going to paint, then get “grey”. It is possible to paint over that coating but not ideal. If you are not going to paint then get this added look for awesome detail right out of the box. It definitely looks better than standard grey.
You could go Sundrop then come back with washes and paint over certain areas but if you plan on painting, you really want to start with base plastic grey.
@@theMCGuiREreview Cool, thanks for answer
It doesn't look for a 74$ bucks extra, cause that much you'll have to spend for a full sundrop version
@@theMCGuiREreview yeah the reason the sundrop with the wash are not nice to paint over is, because the wash they use is oil based
and stripping the oil wash with some "aggressive" stuff might harm the figures, besides the fact its more work anyway 😅
Grey for painters is definitely more than recommended
also yes, I am extremely hyped for it - thanks to your video, even more 😅
@@plart2006 : yes its $74 more for a full game sundrop. That would be way more than anything i have on the table. I just wanted to ensure people did not think i had everything. I have a small number or sample of what comes in each miniature expansion.
It looks like in this campaign it was all in grey or Sundrop. It may have been better for folks to have the option to sundrop per game/expansion. I could definitely see customers that don’t paint wanting just the enemies pack sundrop but nothing else or maybe just the base game for $10 and nothing else.
STALKER, This War of Mine and Wolfenstein - 3 games from Poland ; )
Duuude...This War of Mine and Stalker are NOT in the same environment! How can you even compare those 2 games? They are tottaly different. In TWoM things are happening in country involved in war and you are in schoes of civilians. Teachers, musiciqns, engineers ect. Not cold-bloody-killers like in Stalker. You can say that TWoM is telling more about what is goin on in Ukraine right now. Stalker is a postapo with anomalies and mutants. How you want to combine 2 this games into 1 ultra game? It's like you want to combine Frostpunk with K2 just because there is winter in both games...
From the backstory - you are correct. I am comparing them conceptually. Conceptually, in TWoM when you leave base and do encounters, Stalker builds that experience out and takes to the max. In Stalker, the “base” is approached much lighter where in TWoM its taken to the max.
Both games are survival, search, and always on the edge of death. Both games have a similar environmental feel, although as you state, that environment is being created by different things. So I’m not saying the games are the same game (possibly my statement of “the environments are similar” drove that). I personally thing it would be cool to play them one after another, i was not saying 1 super game that’s all the same. Its similar experiences, but offered in different ways.
@@theMCGuiREreview I can't agree with you...Both are survival games, but there are tons of games that type and that doesn't mean they are similar. Tottaly different mechanics, settings, gameplay ect. There is very little similarities between those 2 games. Just same studio. In TWoM you are avoiding as much as you can encounters. Stalker is made to encounter others (stealth or rambo aproaches is your choice). If you are looking for a game where building base is as much important as going for a mission then maybe you should look at Hunters A.D. 2214
What is "postapo"?
post apocalyptic @@CricketsAreUs
post-apo, story after the end of civilisation, ET invasion, nuclear apocalypse, environmental issue.
Think of mad max, matrix, 28 days, I am legend, wall-e... @@CricketsAreUs
