I'm a retired chef and disabled for alot of reasons. I started making soap for a hobby but soon realized that I had to do something with the soap! I sell at our local farmers market and a couple craft shows. I have a small business but I enjoy it. Thanks for the videos. I live in Idaho in the USA.

I think that's the biggest problem with soap making. It's so addictive you always want to do it but you can't just make one bar 😆 I'm so happy to hear you could turn your hobby into an enjoyable business ❤

I'm a permanently disabled nurse with some knowledge of essential oils . homebound I had to contribute to the fight against Covid. Like you I've done crafting all my life my Tea Tree soap came to be. I've teamed up 4 heavy hitters and these are sold at just over my cost, 1blissfullbath came to be. Like many I wasn't satisfied with just M&P and have started CP products..I love it! So I now make bath bombs, M&P and CP soaps. Just dipping my toes in a vast knowledge base. That's how I found you!

Beautiful, lovely soap and inspiring story. I inherited soaping from my adopted grandmother and mother, it's not a business persay, but a relaxing interest that makes me happy.

Great work! My business started because of my mum. She had a skin condition and her specialist told her to use Plain Lye Soap to wash with, so we decided to learn how to make the soap for her. Hubby & I enjoyed making soap we found out. We loved it so much we made an over abundance of it and had to give it away. Family & friends said we should start a business cause they loved our soaps. That's how we got started.

I actually started making soap because of I Dream In Soap and Royalty Soaps. They inspired me so much that I ordered a few things at a time and then once I got everything I needed I started making soap.

I don't have my own business i do dabble in some stuff( bath bombs, whipped soap, melt n pour, etc) looking forward to trying cold process. I started watching soap videos by accident and kept watching cause they were so relaxing. Your soaps always come out great

Amazon carries oomoo 30 silicone rubber...$25 ...makes great molds, Ive used it successfully to create molds for soap making (cold process & glycerin). When my 8 year old wants to play with mold making supplies, we get in the kitchen and make molds using gelatin and glycerin. Unbelievably, this combination makes a very usable mold. What I like most about making these types of molds is: the product is reusable. So, I melt it down after we are finished playing with it, store it in a mason jar, then pull it out and make molds of all sorts of things. Thank you for sharing your craft. Your work is well thought out and your explaining is clear and video quality is always great. Thank you!!! I also enjoy the Canadian & Texan Soapers!

I started making soap about 6yrs ago for my Dad. Being 80, his skin was as thin as tissue paper. Bathing caused major issues. Being a chemist I started researching skin products and came up with the idea of proper soap. It was great for the last 3yrs of his life and I'm hoping to turn my hobby into a business in the New Year when I've figured how Brexit will affect cosmetic safety rules.

Thanks for this video, Keeley! I'm just starting my soaping and working full time as an insurance broker. I'm lucky that I do work from home, so I don't have to worry about that commute anymore, but being a very crafty person myself, the office job is really not my passion. I'm aiming to turn my bath products into a full time business one day. For now, I'm enjoying learning loads from watching you, Lee, and I also love Royalty Soaps (Katie is just so sweet!) and Le Fl... Arienne!

New subbie here, great job on the video! I love your soap! Very nice berries. I have PCOS also!! It.Sucks. I love the birds in the background. I'm glad you love soaping and are in a better place now. I do also but have had to stop this year due to surgeries and health issues. I love Ariane and Katie too, as well as Holly from Missouri River Soap, I can't name them all, lol. I do crafts as well, but now on disability and wanted something to do. I do watercolor and oil painting, sewing, make jewelry but I've found that making soap truly makes me happy. 💖🖤🧡 Hugz, Tree

Along with your business the 3 other videos soap businesses I watch constantly are the same two you were inspired by too as well as Wicked Lee as she is in Australia too.
I'm a Consultant for a bath and body Company which has not long started in Australia and as I started to watch videos I thought to myself I can make better products than I'm selling and I feel the prices are far too inflated so for 6-8 months watching soap and body products videos and hope to start very soon
