Strands 119 - NYT Word Search - 30 June 2024

It's yet another new daily word game from the New York Times! This time we've got to find a collection of thematically-related words, plus their "spangram" that describes the theme. I don't know if I'll be solving this every day but I'm giving it a shot for now at least. We'll see how it goes. Let me know how you like it!

Creative spangram shapes as of late.

The spangram was a bit unexpected, but the shape of it was a nice touch. Overall, an easy one today.

I thought the spangram had to start and end at the sides.

I never figured out that they are also colors. That makes sense of the -tones part of the spangram.
