I just cleaned my white gutters,soffit and fascia and vinyl siding using a 1 gallon pump sprayer with LA Totally Awesome diluted 5 to 1 and also 8 to 1. I sprayed a 5 foot wide section at a time,let it sit for 2 minutes,then using my electric pressure washer with an 18 foot extension pole and brush and the black mold and mildew spots came right off as well as the dirt. Everything looks like brand new. Gutter paint finish was not affected.
I used LA Awsome on a small area on my gutters. I sprayed it with out adding water. I sprayed it on let sit for 10 seconds and wiped off. It came out SHINY & CLEAN. had no problems
@@scottjones9603 depends on paint. I’ve painted 1 set of gutters using LA but when I tested on my personal gutters it cleaned them without damaging paint
Always good information Jason, Thanks. True story and a little funny but have to share. So after much research I decided with all my new found wisdom I would make my own gutter/oxidation remover. So I'm ready and use it on a home that has hail damage and coverd in oxidation. The mix worked like magic removing the oxidation HOWEVER on this job the customer uses well water and assured me the well is good to go as he uses it for inside the home. So to make a long story short the well water stops and I've just applied some mix with some of it getting on the facia and soffits. It took over 30 minutes to get the water back on and you guessed it the damage was done. Now I've seen what gutter cleaner can do but this stuff was on a whole nother level. So let's just say if you want bright shiney chrome looking gutters facia and soffits I have the product for ya. Lessons learned are never use well water and stay with the professional products. I was lucky as the customer understood the damage was caused by the well shutting down but it definitely scared the beggieses out of him. We finished the oxidation removal and the job turned out better then great. Thanks again Jason for always adding value to our industry. I never offer gutter brightning but If the gutters are dirty with black Mildew on them I do say that they'll clean up and be a lot brighter then they are. 9xs out out 10 the sh house wash will clean them up nicely.
well based on the directions with gutter butter your supposed to dilute the solution 50/50 or it will rip paint. My guess is LA Totally awesome is the same. I will try diluting it next time i use it.
No problem if you use LA Totally awesome. Just got to make sure to add water. If you just use the degreaser yes it can damage. If you use water, one of the best and money cheap things out there.
What do you recommend to buy for a quality gutter cleaning brush? One that isn't too course to scratch it up or too soft to not clean properly either. Thanks guys

Just be careful going that strong. It will strip the paint

You probably used the already pre diluted spray bottle you can buy. Gallon and quart size is fully concentrated..

i tried La Awesome 1 to 1 and with NO dilution. Put it on for less than a minute and sprayed it off. For me there were no paint problems.
