MUSTAZZOLEDDUS DE MENDULA Very soft-Recipe of Sardinian Almond Mostaccioli-Elegant Sweet of Sardinia

- 😋 I am very proud to present the mustazzoleddus de mendula, a typical sweet of Sardinia and prepared in honor of the holidays but suitable for any occasion. These are small diamond-shaped almond mostaccioli, decorated with “sa cappa” the typical Sardinian white icing and decorated either with royal icing or as I did, to make them more greedy, with dark chocolate. In some families they embellish them with the glaze called "a mesu puntu" that is cotton candy as a kind of syrup and cooked in water with orange flower water and then the decorations with royal icing that make them very elegant , and just some small jewels. The choice on how to proceed is therefore up to you. Our splendid and fragrant mustazzoleddus de mendula are spectacular sweets that you will immediately fall in love with. I'm sure. INGREDIENTS for 14 mostaccioli:
✔️ 300 gr of peeled and toasted almonds
✔️ 100 grams of sugar
✔️ 2 eggs
✔️ a pinch of salt
✔️ 1 teaspoon of sambuca or fil'e ferru
✔️ the zest of an organic lemon (untreated)
✔️ a meager teaspoon of cinnamon
✔️ 20 grams of almonds and 20 grams of flour for the work surface
INGREDIENTS for sa hood:
✔️ 1 large egg white
✔️ 100 grams of powdered sugar
✔️ 2 drops of lemon filtered
INGREDIENTS for the decorations:
✔️ 20 gr of extra dark chocolate
♨ COOKING:
✔️ 150 ° in a preheated oven for 15 minutes
