    This supplement gives you the perfect dosage of GABA which will work to reduce your excitability and stress levels, treating symptoms of anxiety and helping you to relax.
    Gamma Aminobutyric Acid or GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, meaning that it promote relaxation. GABA is produced naturally in the body and it works in the brain to reduce anxiety by lowering stress and improving your mood.
    Low levels of GABA can make you feel excited, nervous and even anxious, but a GABA supplement is a natural medicine that is great for treating anxiety to improve your health.
    There is no set daily dosage for GABA supplementation, you can take 500mg, 5000mg or anything in between, and there are no major side effects. For more information on GABA, you can use the links below to do further research or talk to your doctor. Remember, I am not a doctor

    Understand you're body .
    As in Ashwagandha could be mircaolus for some but may bring side effects for many ,why ?
    You're genetics response is key .
    Plus other factors as in cortosil level etc .
    So ,before taking anything start with small dose .
    Observe the minute changes .
    Increase dosage ...observe the changes .
    Observe the side affects ..
    Two thinghs stop it or else just continue it's just part of process .
    Simple idea do hell lot of research before blindly following anything .

Also à natural painkiller that's a lot safer than opiods. I've ones taked it for 2 months straight and had withdrawals (5 days flue like symptoms/very emotional and less sleep) . Hey Luci H great question! I am no doctor, but after some quick research on these 2 drugs it appears that they are indeed quite similar. They are both indicated for neuropathic pain and seizures, and they are both known to be somewhat effective for anxiety. It seems that Pregabalin is more successful at treating anxiety than Gabapentin, which could be why you were recommended one over the other, but there is no way of knowing how either of these drugs will work for you until you have tried them. Please note that GABA is a neurotransmitter and a supplement that you can take, as opposed to Pregabalin and Gabapentin, which are both drugs that act on the GABA-ergic system, but they do not form GABA or bind to GABA receptors...does that make sense? Basically these drugs you ask about are NOT GABA. Hope that all helps :)

    I use gaba and it worked well at first. I suffer with chronic insomnia and it did help it however after a month of taking it it’s no longer seeming to be as effective but as an anti anxiety again I felt it very pronounced from the time I started and can still feel it working when I take it now I guess you build a tolerance to anything you supplement to some degree. perhaps cycling on and off it would be the way forward, also I once or twice felt it caused what felt like asthma but wasn’t, shallow or difficulty breathing is a side effect that can be caused by it and I had this myself a couple of times.

      @@edwinras9478 Hi yes thanks i love people and feel like helping them if its within my ability. I find myself that i have realized everybody is suffering in this world to one degree or another, So we are all suffering together because the mind has no Wisdom and no understanding and we are not the only one suffering and this lessens the effect of feeling isolated which helps a little because we can realize we aren't really crazy but we are a all a little crazy because of mind. I have also found that aminos and supplements that can be bought in powdered form in bulk are really cheap re $20 500g on Amazon from a company called Bulk Supplements and some others and you can read the reviews on Amazon for aminos like 5tp and Gabba etc. and see that many are being helped on that level re body brain . trouble is we are deficient in even magnesium and important minerals that can can be linked to anxiety if we are deficient. As for Meditation, God ,soul that's a whole different level and we can be searching for that on a higher level ( who am i what am i here for God/Soul etc. ) or just seeking relief from crazy mind and don't really want to go deeper than that, and so there are meditation techniques for everyone according to where we are coming from.
      I only wanted to help you because as i said i love people and love to help so i should be thanking you Edwin haha

      Hey @suddendee great question, the GABA dosage is not set in stone, some people take 500mg, others take 5000mg. I would recommend starting with a lower dose (500mg) every day for a few weeks and see how it makes you feel. If you feel no change, try increasing it to 2000 or 5000mg . I have recommended a specific supplement in the description of this video, look and see if it could work for you :) Good luck my friend!

    • @TheTravellingScientist
      @TheTravellingScientist  Pƙed 2 lety

      Hey @Calin Darabut interesting question, I'm not sure why you would want to lower your GABA levels...they are promoted by most healthy foods and activities, so I guess you would need to eat more junk, drink more alcohol and do less exercise...but I would NOT recommend any of that haha. I believe that GABA production is promoted by foods rich in glutamic acid, so if you find out which foods they are and avoid them, that might help? Either way, good luck with all of it. Nice explainatiin. But -
    1) Does GABA work like caffeine? Addictive feeling, like take it again or feel more stressed? Is it like, need to increase the dose to get the same effect that you got on the first day? Like, stop it and you are back to anxiety or even more?
    2) Or, does it have healing or cell regenerative effect?

    • @TheTravellingScientist
      @TheTravellingScientist  Pƙed 3 lety +3

      Hey @Kketansa Art great question! GABA isn't necessarily addictive, but if you take it regularly it is likely to help you with your anxiety, and if you stop taking it you may return to how you felt when you didn't use GABA. It is a natural supplement, it isn't like a strong anti-depressant or anti-anxiety medication, it acts slowly over time to help you gain control of your mental health. I don't believe that it has any healing/regenerative effects as far as I know...but I'm not an expert on GABA specifically, I'm just trying to offer advice where I can haha. Hey @john smith thank you for raising this concern. I am not a doctor so this is just an opinion, but I don't think that taking a GABA supplement would cause one's heart to race. It is naturally occurring in the body after all. It is possible that it may slightly increase ones heart rate, but most research suggests that by inhibiting the nervous system it should reduce anxiety and thereby lower ones heart rate. Ultimately, don't try taking this supplement if the thought of it makes you feel uncomfortable. Perhaps ask your doctor about it.
