SUMMARY
The most important thing: It turned out it wasn’t coffee I loved so much. It was the ritual of brewing and drinking it in the morning or at work. You can easily replace it with some other more useful routine. Can you think of any? Please share your thoughts in the comment section below the video.
It’s just that we need our little pleasures in our daily routines. My aim is to think about more of them for myself. Flowers, ginger and honey tea, whatever. Hit the ‘Like’ button if you are already one those who lead a healthy lifestyle.
P.S.: By the way, I don’t want to quit coffee altogether. Let it be not a habit but an occasion - I’ll keep drinking it once or twice a week and only good brews. Because in drinking coffee with occasional small cups some benefits like increased alertness and improved memory functions are still there.

Who is a coffee lover? 😊
I'm almost sure you didn't know these facts czcams.com/video/TN0cxBYh8t8/video.html
Me
Used to be.
your mom is.
all those coffee`s listed at the end makes me wanna start drinking it!
Coffee is better
Quitting coffee has changed my life. No more anxiety, calm, super productive, and better sleep which translates to better health and younger DNA
I am a tea addict 12 cups a day...
Tried to stop many times but failed. Can you give me some tips?
I stopped drinking coffee for one whole morning, needless to say i died that afternoon. RIP
😆😆😆
I can make it three days until I end up going back.
Coffee has a hold on me.
For over twenty years at that.
once you quit drinking it you feel weird and like...something is missing
😂😂😂
you actually addicted to sugar as well not only the coffee
Same my guy
Who uses coffee to wake up? I've fallen asleep after drinking coffee..
Me too lol
Drank coffee at 1am then went to bed. When I woke up, my watch said that I started sleeping at 1:27am then woke up at around 9am. 😂😂😂
when coffee makes you sleepy that's called adrenal fatigue.
Lol i instantly yawn
then coffee isn't for you I would stay away cause it might have health risks for you
The first 3 days was hardest. The migraines were horrific. Moving on to the second week fatigue. Third week sudden, I became less stressful, calmer, and a feeling of purpose. Fourth week gave up sugar, which I used add to coffee heavily and switched to just water or green tea. Week five started to feel more alert and sleeping better. My sense of time became clear, naturally started to wake up at 6am. Switched from hot showers to cold showers, wow that was awesome, felt so alive. Now I feel a sense of happiness. Not related but this led to finding more fulfillment and less dependent on social networks (e.g, facebook, mobile phones). Recently started gardening and going to the gym.
Good one you mate. I tried several times but was quite painful. Now it's been 18mths no coffee but I weaned off and applied some other tactics which made it 10x easier
its the sugar
@@TheBhezard it's all things manufactured with an enormous industry behind it!
It's addicting! People have withdrawl effects.....wake up!!!!! That's straight up legal drugs!
I never felt that way about an apple, or celery. I never get migranes if I stop eating celery for a few days....
Now reduce consumption of animal products, and you'll feel EVEN better 🤗💚🌱✌

Brilliant
And the last photo is so photoshopped it's unbelievable. Look at her face in the other ones... She has freckles and you can see the pores. However in the last one it's so blurred you can no longer see any of that.
I would take a video like this much more serious if they can actually do photos that were done in the same location, same lighting, no extra makeup, and no enhancement of the photos.
Was looking to see if someone noticed this...right on!
Oh my My, I have to quit coffee right now. I also need a new neighborhood.
Been off coffee for 10days & had no withdrawals. What’s even weirder is my energy has increased & I’m not half as tired anymore. Also my motivation & memory & thinking has improved. Solved some problems In one day which I have had for months. I really believe my body type is not made for coffee. So I say Goodbye to this fad.
lucky
I just started having coffee after watching weight loss videos suggesting to have black coffee. Now I am confused
charlieduke1 same for me
Thank you for sharing! I believe coffee acts too much like a diuretic on me, and would love to quit, but I enjoy the smell and taste so much. I just have yo make up my mind like my mom could always do!🙏
Are you an endomorph or pear shaped?
I quite caffeine two weeks ago before watching any of this stuff. I can confirm that all this is pretty much true, you definitely get fantastic sleep and feeling very calm is so nice for a change.
How did you do it :(

I quit for 45 days once. It was a great decision. I don't know why i went back, but I'm going to try to quit again. This time forever.
Caleb Tapia And? You still drinking or no?
Same even I cut out for months evey year. But still I go back to coffee during exam or stressful days. Can't help
Mystery I did too, now I drink Powerade instead.
Same thing. I stopped for three months. My exams made me take it again for more concentration.
I'm a truck driver and I love coffee. But.... I have stopped drinking so much of it. And i can tell I'm not so tired when i stop driving for the day. I drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Good luck to you. You can do it. 🙏
I quit coffee for a month, my hair turned blonde, I cracked a smile and posted it for click bait.
Yep ugh
Well it made you watch the video
One minute people say it’s bad for you and the next minute it’s good for u!
Kiarra Mac So go without for a month and find out for yourself.
Over indulgence or addiction to anything is not good. People tend to overdo things and that is the problem.
Enough amount of it is healthy. When you'll become addicted, it won't be healthy no more
Kiarra Mac I hear it's how u balance it in your diet
Jyotish Ramachandran well said
I'm Moroccan and yes we used to prepare coffee with spices in the past. This reminds me of my childhood and my beloved mother. I would buy the coffee with spices she would prepare it and we would sit around sipping coffee and chatting. The best part of my life was my childhood.
When I DON'T drink coffee I sleep like a baby!

So is CZcams
I quit coffee a few months ago and my experience was exactly the same. I will add that it is saving me around 150 USD a month which is a nice bonus. I have replaced my morning coffee with a nice 5:30 am run..coz i now have the energy to do it :-)
true
I am 58 and am under a lot of stress looking after my 87 year old disabled mother. I have been drinking an increasing amount of strong filter coffee and have been experiencing an erratic heart beat recently. I believe that is not because of stress but due to the huge amounts of coffee I now drink. Other medical CZcams channels have suggested that too much coffee intake can do this to the heart. I have decided to go on a caffeine fast for a bit and see what happens. I will stick to decaff coffee and possible some tea. I hope I will not suffer withdrawals.
How you doing brother?
Drink stronger coffee ☕
When you drink coffee, you think you're getting energy but you're actually exhausting your adrenal glands which guess what, is bad for you!!
I didn’t know that!

Yeahhh...😁😁😁
Right!! Lol
This video makes me want coffee
true
Same here. First part sounded like advertising for it.
Saaame
srsly....n thinking “why would anyone wanna quit on a delicious drink”!?
Coffee has disrupted my sleep for many months and ever since I stopped drinking it I never want to continue drinking it my energy is higher and all my friends think I'm strange because I don't drink coffee nor alcohal but still feel good we are addicted to things in our society and it's up to us to make those changes now to better ourselves overall
It makes me sleepy.
@@nuttybar9 ...me too... and it's because coffee is toxic to the nervous system... that's why the initial high (which is not really a boost in energy but an outcry of distress of the nervous system) is followed by a deep low rather instantly...
I’m dead 😂
My husband doesn’t drink alcohol and he gets that same response -people call him weird or boring upon finding out
@@nuttybar9 True, coffee actually does the opposite, plus the sugar and milk we add to it makes it worse and at night we can't sleep well. The true and natural energizer for our body is Exercise, not coffee.
Me at Night: I can quit whenever I want!
Me in the Morning: COFFEE!!!!!
2012 to till this year resolution :D . Let me drink today alone , tomorrow onwards Noo... That tomorrow yet to come :D
Its just a matter of control, there are still a lot of benefits you get by drinking coffee, just keep it on moderation and youll be fine👌
this is crazy!! Coffee actually puts me to sleep at night and I wake up fresh in the morning.
I binge watch videos like this to motivate me to quit coffee. I am only 22 and have been drinking it since I am 14. 2019 will be coffee free! Pray for me 😭
You coffee free yet?
You got it!
I need prayer too for this….my hardest habit to break.🙏🏻
The narrator sounds like she needs more coffee..
Mark JR Alipio you won. 😀
hahaha
😂😂
She mentioned in the video that she becomes calmer (4:20). The more coffee you drink the more you feel sleepy, that's why you want more coffee. Not drinking coffee makes you sleepy is not true. I don't drink coffee everyday, i don't get tired throughout the day, and i sleep better at night.
hahaha!
It's not alcohol or cigarettes when you try to quit. Let's go to rehab for coffee.
Only if they have coffee there.
Exactly. Not all addictions are bad. Imagine trying to go without air.
Desolo SubHumus control over your life, I have a ADHD brain and it's not really great like everyone else responds, it's a strange thing, and personally anything I feel a draw to, like second hand smoke makes me crave nicotine, look at it from all the angles, what is the world you live in and what is the world your body is best suited for?
Tobacco is not the only form you get nicotine from, every member of the deadly nightshade family has nicotine, this includes eggplants and tomatoes.
Quiting coffee makes quiting smoking super easy, quiting from coffee made me feel like I was quiting one of those hard drug that they show in movies etc..

Hahahaha no
I only liked it so that it would go to the top.

Nope
Thanks for posting this! On day 3 no coffee and I've slept great! I'm going to go for a week and see if this continues, if so I will give it up and save it for special occasions. Sleep is just too important! I was needing some encouragement so this video was nice :) hugs!
I experienced the same, i quit coffee for half a year and i slept like a log.
I noticed however that it had no affects on my sleep if I drank a cup of coffee in the morning, it was all those cups past 10 am that had a huge effect.

I love coffe💕💕 I have drank it since my teens. I stopped drinking it for 3-4 months a few years back. It was hard at first. It showed me that I did not need coffee but wanted to drink it. I have been able to go down to drinking coffee once a day instead of 3x a day which was a plus.
Now I’m glad I never started drinking coffee.... I don’t want to be addictive to anything....
Me too, I love tea
I'm from tea capital of the world
Assam, Northeast India
You are already addicted to CZcams 🤣
I am drinking green tea now, one week. But I also like the idea of lemon, warm water, and honey!! Think that I will add the lemon and honey to the cold brew of green tea!! Yes 25 years of coffee was enough!! Time for another healthy change!! Thank you for your thoughts!!
Some types of tea (eg green and black) as well as chocolate contain caffeine too. I think we don't have to quit something we enjoy, everything in moderation is the key to a balanced and healthy lifestyle!
E. Pa
Totally agree
But people who drink coffee don't do it in moderation, they drink it every day
E. Pa
Never give up my chocolate 😁
its depends if you use the substance or abuse it.
Mic Ha El Russell most medicines are poisons and anesthesia is based on poisons. There is even a thing calld oxygen poisoning so yea a little bit of poison is ok.
Thanks for this info. My best friend is really addicted on coffee, and I'm becoming addict too.. From now on I quit for this coffee!
I've been off coffee for over 2 months, headaches were bad,I noticed I eat more throughout the day. I eat oatmeal every morning and I feel energetic.
Yes I occasionally indulge in a cup or two if I am working for 10 to 12 hours at a stretch. That addiction to morning coffee is now replaced with healthy fruit juice. I am so happy to have brought this change.
hmm let's see: first, they tell us that we should quit coffee and then they give us coffee recipies and images to make your mouth water? Are you serious?
Bob James it good your idea
I've quit several times and enjoyed life most after 2 weeks. Something always happens to cause me to go back. I just finished my first week off coffee again and while the headaches are gone I am still a bit droopy. I drink peppermint tea in the morning and try to drink a ton of water during the day. Here goes again.
I live in Turkey and I never heard "coffee with garlic and honey"!!!

I gave up coffee for Lent (6 weeks). My experience was basically identical. I live in Spain, so the coffee is pretty strong, and before I quit drinking I consumed about three espressos daily. Like the narrator, I now drink a few coffees a week but no later than early afternoon. I had annoying “withdrawal” symptoms for about two days (headache, moody....). I sleep much better in general.
I did the same experiment
after a month I was just
tired and very moody
Looked terrible
After coffee came back
My smile came back
I felt smarter stronger
I felt positive
Men tolerate caffeine quite well
I only drink coffee 5 times a year. I'm happy I never got crazy about it lol the withdraw sounds horrible
Lucky!!! I am struggling to quit🥴
Me too like I just drink it in my exam days that's it😊
I love tea more than coffe lol
I drink only once in like five months
Yes...thats a spirit keep it up. I am addicted to milk tea with cream a three cups a day but one cup milk tea with cream in one time for sure.
I've been drinking coffee since I was 11 years old and I'm not going to stop now😃 I drink it without sugar or cream its so delicious☕☕☕☕
This is timed quite well, as I'm almost 3 weeks into my no coffee life. I've been a full time barista for the past 4 1/2 years and it has been SO hard to serve people coffee all day while not being able to drink it myself. I will say though, it definitely is much easier to get up in the morning and my energy levels are very stable throughout the day. After my month is up, I will absolutely be limiting my coffee intake. It is such an addiction!
My every morning routine- lemon, honey in a glass of warm water.

This is such a BIG challenge for me. I've been drinking coffee off and on since the age of 10. My grandmother let me taste it with hot toast smothered in grape jelly. I was hooked. I've cut back a great deal, but I still like it and will probably will always have a cup from time to time.
Very interesting video!!! Thank you for this information!!
ok finished watching. time for some coffee.
I love drinking hot coffee when the weather is cold. Yummy
Inspirational! My goal is to have my last cup at 4pm, then slowly move up to 1-2pm maybe. I now drink coffee until 6pm and that's just wrong.

I’m on my second coffee free week now ( day 1 of week 2) and really feel like it now but.... Your video is very helpful !!!! My substitute for now is herbal tea 🍵 ( ginger, thyme and camomile) ... hope I can make it up to 30 days . And btw I have already started sleeping better 😉
I liked this particular video clip about coffee. Thanks Bright aside!
If you liked this video, you may also want to know that there's research out there saying that coffee makes heart and vessel disease (cardiovascular disease) worse because it raises LDL cholesterol, but that’s not the whole story! We now know that LDL particles can either be large and buoyant, or small and dense. When LDL particles are large and buoyant, they can help decrease risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). And coffee can transition LDL particles from small and dense to large and buoyant, decreasing CVD risk!
Watching this video while drinking coffee
We can drink warm water with squeezed lemon and a spoon of honey. It's a really healthy drink and it really helped me to get thin. This drink should be regularly taken if you want to see any difference or change in ur body😉😉.
This video did not convince me to give up coffee, but it instead inspired to me to try these different twists on my favorite beverage.
Before trying coffee and knowing it’s effect, I felt sleepy, weak and exhausted for a few years without knowing the reason of it or any possible solution. The joy in my life and the things I discovered were not even close to they are now. Coffee changed my life. It taught me how important strength is and why humans use tools (they are helpful). It might not be wise to drink coffee without controlling the amount of it, but it is certainly not that much negative. I do not recommend people avoiding it and denying it as an addiction.
Every substance has negative effects on the body if you consumed overly.
A i r?

about to make a cup lol
Coffee is part of me. My grandfather still drinks it. We're Cuban, so it's always espresso too. I left cigarettes behind in 2014 after being a 3 year smoker. One thing that helped was coffee. My favorite part of smoking, was waking up in the morning with a fresh cup of espresso and a smooth Marlboro. Then when I left them behind, the coffee gave me that feeling in a similar way. The steam slowly rising from the cup in my mind simulates the cigarette smoke. Also the strong coffee scent simulates the strong tobacco scent. So now in days, coffee is my Cigarette and it's done me no harm yet. I love coffee!
Debbie. I quit coffee long tine ago. I was having a lot of reflux, it stopped when stopped coffee. I rarely drink it. Feel great
I quit drinking coffee cause my doctor said to for 7 years I never felt any improvement over my health or any different in any way so then I finally started back drinking one cup a day and I'm still doing fine

True I only drink coffee at night, and still get great sleep
Great video! I quit coffee two weeks ago and while it's not the easiest thing I've ever done, it's not the hardest either. I already feel so much more rested on less sleep, I'm less anxious, and my skin is clearing up too (I think from less sugar). I might still enjoy a starbucks drink every now and again but I'm so happy that I no longer feel ADDICTED!
Mindfully Marina now and then? I thought it had only been two weeks
:) She saved money for new lipstick and hair colour change. Great tip!
Hey! Two weeks ago I saw your video about drinking 4 glassi of water in the morning to get 'glass skin' like Japanese women. It was hard to not just go for that hot cup of coffee. I've only worked up to 3 glasses. Still drinking coffee but doing Bio Coffee which is alkine. It contains wheat grass. But still working up to quit coffee. I did it years ago and it's true!!!! You actually do sleep better, look more rested and my skin looked amazing!
I used to be a big coffee drinker. Hot coffee in the morning and cold in the afternoon. I drank it because I had difficulty sleeping at night and was exhausted throughout the day; now a few months later I am energized all the time and haven’t had any coffee or difficulty sleeping
Its been almost 30 days for me. The dr told me to quit in order to sleep better, and I finally am.
Good stuff
So cool I'm going to try this it seems like a healthy thing to do. Also the international coffees were also SOOOO cool wanna try them ALL. This channel is fantastic Ive loved every video this one is one of my favorite and again the bonus coffee recipes were soo very cool
For a new morning routine, some suggestions: try Ovaltine, or grape juice, or cold ice water, or Horlicks, or hot cocoa, or orange juice, or green tea
It’s hard to actually let go of something you really love for better. ☹️

Day 34 no caffeine. I think of it time to time but really don’t miss it. My drug of choice was a 5 hour energy a day, even when I didn’t feel I needed it. Ordered the stuff two cases at a time from Walmart and Amazon. Looked forward to the 5 min initial pick me up. I know, sad. Had to let it go. Too much anxiety. Replaced Starbucks. 17 years of caffeine to feel upbeat and energetic. Not how long it will last. Be encouraged.
I was addicted to coffee for decades. I remember drinking latte when I was 6 years old. I quit for 3 years and started again last year. I have again quit and discovered match tea latte, healthy with heart-protecting soy milk and date syrup - the only healthy sweetener. The caffeine in matcha is easy on the brain and my sleep is now restored to normal. Coffee has a lot of cholesterol too.
different body react differently...to me coffee or no coffee, when comes to bedtime, i will fall asleep...and coffee is my prime favourite
I am a coffee admirer & from Ethipia (Africa) the origin of coffee &there is special coffee ceremony but I like the idea of drinking coffee at least one or two times a week !!
Since working from home I quit coffee because there was no team ritual that I needed to do to be able to get by within the work environment. I did quit a few times in my 20s, the withdrawals were very aggresive on me (week long headaches and runny nose, etc). I can definitely see I look younger and don't have social anxiety. I workout in the morning instead of coffee worshipping. I sleep well, I don't have arguments with everyone about everything. How are we not seeing something so basic until it gets the best of us?
