    "Pro tip"
Please taste a drop of the liquid chocolate before refrigerating so that any taste issues could be corrected.
    If -
    1. it smells like coconut - Add few more drops of vanilla essence.
    2. it is a bit bitter to taste - Add some more pinches of milk powder (don't add sugar at this stage)
I did the same and my chocolate was mouth watering.
    Thank me later 😉

      @priyapuni5202 Před 2 lety +8

      @@mamatapatar7186 Okay.
Firstly use a good quality extra virgin coconut oil which has almost neutral taste and "comparatively" less smell.
Secondly if you think that it tastes like coconut oil probably your ratio isn't perfect like you would have poured more coconut oil in comparison to cocoa powder or milk powder. If yes, pl reduce the amount of oil used.
      Hope it helps ;)
      Thanks for asking ♥️

@@lavanyag5162 Adding milk is risky as it will gradually lower solidification temperature (milk isn't solid in the fridge for exemple). So your chocolate might never harden of you don't do it properly. There are a couple of recipes online you can check out though, but it is harder overall.

Actually I learned something from my friend who studied in a French bakery
There is a huge temperature difference in the boiling that is used for mixing the chocolate
She said for white the water should have temperature aroung 35-45°c
And for milk it should be around 60°c
I once did without checking and the results of the chocolate was bitter in taste

I just made it today, and it came out amazingly delicious. I've reduced the amount of sugar and cocoa powder.
Recipe: 1/2 a cup coconut oil
1/4 cup milk powder ( a little more for a milky taste)
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    1/8 cup powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence. Hope you'll enjoy it(:

Nope.. cocoa and milk powder have real strong flavour that it masks the coconut oil. I have tried it..
You can use cocoa butter, if you are skeptical.. will have a slight cocoa scent to it

The recipe is good. Taste is amazing. My chocolates are not smooth or creamy. There is a grit while eating. All the dry ingredients used are in fine powdered form and exact measure. Can you please tell me what should be done to get smooth chocolate?

U can grind all the ingredients instead of doing in double boiling method u can just put all the ingredients in mixer jar with the coconut oil and grind for about 2 to 3 mins or more until smooth u will get smoother chocolate
