Avanti Class 805's First Day In Service | Sunday 2nd June 2024

Sunday 2nd June 2024 saw the new timetable come into place across the network and the start of the new Hitachi Evero Class 805 trains with Avanti West Coast. Here are a few in service in North Wales on their first day.
Units filmed are 805001 with 805004 from Rhyl to Llandudno Junction. Seen passing at speed during the afternoon is 805012 and 805009 at Conwy. a trip onboard 805009 from Llandudno Junction to Rhyl.

I’d expect these to be feel the same as the other AT300s 802s call at my local (185s on the Hulls will be back in December) find them a bit boring but they do look nice on the outside.

I was on the this exact train (805004) I was on seat 47 -49 on this same day and you can see my little brothers hand and my moms hand at 1.25-1.25 minutes in that’s crazy.
