  • @manuelgonzalezhernandez9818

I believe that Agoney and Blanca have completely different styles, and it's ok if you like one more than the other. Spain this year went for a more "cultural" thing instead of Agoney's style, which is more "mainstream". I feel like Spain took the risk but I also think this song has a lot of potential 🔥🔥

Thank you for your honesty, man, no worries, It's understandable, the song isn't the style I like either, and I'm Spanish. I think people have voted for her not because of the song, but because she transmits a lot of energy singing, she has an incredible voice and a high-quality staging compared to others, and because the singer has a lot of charisma. But not even in Spain do I think that people have voted specifically for the song, which is not catchy at all, and sounds strange even for many Spaniards, but for everything else.

I totally respect the opinion of not liking the song, while acknowledging she's an exceptional artist -hell, same thing happened to me with Chanel last year, I still really don't like the song that much- but I do think this song has the potential to do quite well in Europe. Ethnic sounds have proved to do very well, specially as of late, and I do think believing the public won't understand it is giving the televote too little credit; specially when we see how other "weird" songs have been doing as of late, such as last year's In Corpore Sano. I, as a spaniard, am very proud of this choice however, regardless of how she places in Eurovision; but I do also think it's definitely winner material. We won't know until may tho!

Henrik's comment is respectful. If he doesn't like it, it's ok. What is out of place are rude comments, but he is not. And we Spaniards (some) should not be so sensitive and respond by attacking when they do not like our proposal. And there are somewhat aggressive responses, but fortunately it is not the majority. Last year it was a song with Latin rhythms, this year it's flamenco, next year it will be another style. I love Blanca Paloma. It is very special, a love song for a son, with a perfect staging, reminiscent of Federico García Lorca. I recommend paying attention to the lyrics that are moving. But if he doesn't like it, it's ok. Even if Blanca has 0 points from the public, it's ok. It doesn't detract from her performance. Henrik, keep commenting and leaving your opinions as you have done so far. Love from Andalucia (Spain).
