Bambie tells us all about their journey from the very beginning in rural Ireland to where they find themselves now, about to perform on Eurovision in front of the whole world. yes, Bambie Thug is such a graceful yet profound name. Also there's nothing unique about her look, it wasn't edgy 30 years ago and it isn't edgy now, she's hiding behind it.

When they are speaking about their mental health I feel we are in the very similar state and it really saddens me that they are probably suffering just as much as me. Depression sucks so bad. Stay strong Bambie! Sending you all my love!

What a brilliant interview. I will admit that I judged a book by it's cover with Bambie, but they are incredibly sweet, likeable and fascinating.
They knocked it out of the park at the Eurovision. What a performance!
Actually..the real test of a good song is it's adaptability...if you hear the slow soul version you will see the incredible range of this song and the singer...anyone who really knows anything about music, structure, risk and artistic exploration will understand vwhy this Ought to win.🎉

FINALLY a longer form interview with Bambie - I've been dying to hear more from them - I'm a bit obsessed at the moment! FWIW, I've been visualizing Bambie winning Eurovision. Anyone else into Bambie, and prayer, or workings, or visualizations, or rituals, or straight up witchcraft - however you want to call it - let's give the universe a little shove in the way we'd like to for Bambie. ;P
i am russian, we (country) completely forgot about Eurovision, but I really wanted to watch Eurovision, it was wonderful, Ireland impressed me very much. I'm so sad to know that our russian audience did not appreciate Eurovision 2024. and there is still very little information in Russian about Bambie, and my English is not very good.

Agree totally, after the Eurovision semi's I'm doing a bit of a "Who is this Bambi character?". She's from Cork so she wins anyway but this interview answered all questions and @Nels you did a great job , less is definitely more when it comes to interviewing. They are such talented and versatile artist. I only found out about Bambie less than a week ago (1st semi final and later I listened to few more of their songs), but I'm totally fascinated with their outstanding performance, and they seem like a very sweet person too. I wish them to get all the recognition they deserve, I cannot wait to see more from them in the future. I wish this interview would last longer.

IMO, that's a great singing voice, talent, and able to really reveal some true emotion through their performances. You might not care for the aesthetic, but no talent? That's a tough statement to take seriously.
