A Mario collab will sadly never happen, Fortnite tried to add a samus skin to the game, and Nintendo said that all switch players would get the skin for free, but epic said that it would be in the item shop like all other ones, and Nintendo said that if they won’t do what they said, no samus skin, since that day, epic never attempted to collab with Nintendo again.
Now this is something new, people kept commenting that "nintendo would never" which is a little annoying but fair I suppose. I knew it would never happen just a dream list, most of the things I mentioned won't ever be a thing. The reason we didn't get a nintendo collab in Fall Guys is because their really protective of their IP's Nintendo would rather sell Mario to like SEGA or smth than add him as a collab.

It could happen if they only limit the mario skin only to nintendo players and if you play on ps4 you see a default instead of mario
If I had to guess the reason why Nintendo is not in fall guys it’s probably because of the same reason as Fortnite they want to nintendo wants Nintendo stuff to be only on switch not on Xbox or PlayStation and epic games don’t want that
Nintendo did collab with rocket league though mario himself didn't appear in the game just a skin for a car and some other stuff, but yeah nintendo is pretty protective of their IP, so it probably won't ever happen but a man can dream right?
