thats when i became a gs fan. i didnt care that much about basketaball but at that time most of my students, chinese students were hard core basketball fan. i needed to choose a teamto cheer for.... well it just happened at that time when warriors pull the upset. and the philosophy playing fast and shoot 3s. i just loved it.

Cleveland won game 3, 5, and 6 by 30, 15, and 14 points respectively, all double digit wins. The only two legitimate reasons you can say its the best is because of game 7 and 3-1. It was not really fun to watch and not really close apart from game 7.

There was SO much talent on this team. I mean if Monta Ellis and Al Harrington didn't even get in the highlight reel you know that team must have been deep. Now all we have left from this team is the ghost of Andris Biedrins and some the memories.
The tragedy of this was that the Dubs blew Game 2 in Utah and then got smoked in Game 4 against the Jizz. I honestly thought they'd beat Utah and play a fun, but futile series against the Spurms in the WCF. But Derek Fisher hit those shots late in Gm 2 and they just lost that mojo from this series. Ironically, they were BETTER in 2008, but the West was so loaded, they missed the playoffs as a 48 win team (if I remember right...they were somewhere in that range for wins).
"And the onslaught continues...." 2:17 Quite possibly the most memorable sequence of events in my Warriors memory. Baron double-teamed, splits it to Pietrus-- Pietrus one bounce pass to J-Rich for the one hand jam! Then it only gets better. J-Rich steals the ball from the MVP, Dirk, and saves it from going out of bounds only to get it back and nail a trey, 5 pts within 15 seconds that are seared into my memory that I will never, ever forget. Let's go WARRIORSSSS!

I honestly thought they'd beat Utah and play a fun, but futile series against the Spurms in the WCF. But Derek Fisher hit those shots late in Gm 2 and they just lost that mojo from this series. Ironically, they were BETTER in 2008, but the West was so loaded, they missed the playoffs as a 48 win team (if I remember right...they were somewhere in that range for wins).

J-Rich steals the ball from the MVP, Dirk, and saves it from going out of bounds only to get it back and nail a trey, 5 pts within 15 seconds that are seared into my memory that I will never, ever forget. Although they didnt win the championship they still feel like champions because they knocked out the number one team in playoffs. This felt like the championship game right here.
