I was always more partial to this theme out of all of the boss battles, but after covering so many songs from this soundtrack, I honestly don't know which one is my favorite. The first time I heard that violin riff in that break was one of my favorite moments of Octopath Traveler as a whole. It's really a special part of the soundtrack and whole game.
This as well as the previous video are pretty big spoilers so I hope those of you who haven't reached these bosses will forgive me for putting this stuff up on CZcams. I won't say... where these bosses happen, only you might miss it if you weren't looking around.
I have a feeling MANY players won't know the final song I have for you guys on Halloween because of how hard it is to find... Hopefully it motivates you guys to pick up the game again if you thought you'd already beaten it. ;)

Yeah...I tried that. It was good for the first hit. Then Winnehild hit me about 9 more times before I got my next attack, so...I stopped bothering trying to use that.

(I literally fought whoever gives you Runelord first because I knew Runelord Tressa was busted, but... I didn't think 'slaughter the other three with ease' busted
@Total awesomeness Yeah, I started with Balogar the Runeblade. That was the most brutal fight by leaps and bounds up to that point. But Runelord Tressa absolutely slays.

My favorite song in the game, and there's a LOT of good music in this game. There's a reason this song was originally called "Stronger Boss".

Yeah it is lol. Keep in mind I played Octopath before BD2’s demo, and I will play BD2 as my first BD game. Is it related to the previous games or can I play it and fully enjoy it without playing the other two games?
@@sharpshooterxigbar5713 it’s a stand alone title, but It may somehow make some Nods to the first two Bravely Series because these games like to break the forth wall from time to time and who knows what might be Planned for BD2’s ending. However I doubt not playing the first two will make your experience with BD2 any less exciting. I highly still recommend them though especially Bravely Second.

Alright Jules I'm going to keep it real with you. I think this is, without a doubt, the best cover you've made, period. And that's damn hard to say considering Trial of Thunder exists. Ive been a massive fan of Octopath ever since I went to the midnight release, and have followed you and your music for years after playing Crypt of the Necrodancer. Thank you for this huge project you've been working on, I think I speak for all of the people who love this game when I say that it's truly been awesome to hear these. You're such a talented dude. Keep on doing what you do best, and you'll be sure to get loads more people to buy your albums.

I just got around to beating these bosses. I started at the top left and worked my way around clockwise, with most of my party at Lv38 save for a Lv45 Alfyn. Absolutely loved the intensity of those battles and now I can truly say that this cover does them justice.

I remember finding Dreisang while at like level 30 tops and spending 5 hours determined to win. Didn't know the power of the merchant at the time, so my whole strat was based around the cleric skill that allowed you to overheal past your max HP. Ophelia's turn was never not healing.

Based on your description of what the next song is, I think I know what you're talking about, and suffice to say I CZcamsd that because fuck that fight. I wasn't going to grind that hard with no reward for that fight. That area ties up the story nicely, but the conditions surrounding it (no saving, leaving, etc) are just ass.
Rant aside, holy shit this is phenomenal. You've really done a killer cover of a killer soundtrack. That's like...killing it squared. Nice job!

One character + no reflect Dreisang was fun. By the time I got to Winnehild Tressa's evasion stat was 999, she couldn't hit me even without sidestep. It felt like bullying.
