Goodbye Things by Fumio Sasaki - it is about much more than things.
That's a great book, too: the first book about minimalism that I read.
Yessss!! I agree!
I’ve had Mindset on my shelf for years but haven’t yet picked it up. Maybe this is the call to action I’ve been waiting for!
Hope you will enjoy reading it! 📖
Hi Peter, a really interesting video, thank you. I can really recommend: Privacy is power by Carissa Veliz, The lonely century by Noreena Hertz and Lost Connections by Johann Hari. All three might not be life changing, but definitely thought provoking and they have influenced certainly my life.
Thanks for the book recommendations! 🙌🏻
Dang, I had bet on "atomic habits"
Absolutely love that book, too! 😉
In Praise of Slow is one of my favorite books. Time for a reread I think. Thanks for the inspiration! 📚
It's a great book, hope you will enjoy rereading it! 😀
Thank You for this, sooo true
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
These sound very interesting. I'll need to check them out. Sitting in my favourite chair in the sunny bay window of my home I've just read Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. It is so full of wonderful descriptions and poignant statements. For example, she writes, 'Recognizing abundance rather than scarcity undermines an economy that thrives on meeting unmet desires. Gratitute cultivates an economy of fullness, but the economy needs emptiness.'
Loved this video, every new one gets better just like the staircase metaphor, step by step. Keep going, this inspires!
Changing subject, and in spite of you not obsessing in the news and media (great!), you tangently touched the problem of the 15 min cities' controversy, without standing in the middle ground nor taking sides: the aim to live happily, with intention, balance, as peaceful as possible, thinking of what we can do better as individuals to achieve those. This is worthy of reflection.
Thanks for such a thoughtful comment and also the kind words, appreciate it. 🙏🏻
