    I have enjoyed following your fantastic choir from here in Australia - since I discovered you on the BRITAINS GOT TALENT 2012 YouTUBE clips ... since then have put together a playlist with over 20 videoclips of your group performing so my friends can discover you too conveniently in one spot... I am often moved to tears listening to your angelic voices... keep up the great job ... you make a difference in the world!! Keep on going on!!

      In 1966 there was a terrible tragedy in Aberfan in Wales.
      I will send an angel for your protection tonight, I will send an angel to comfort you. A coal tip (waste from a coal mine) slipped down the hillside and engulfed a school. Most of the children of the village of Aberfan died. I believe this song was written in reponse to that tragedy. I am a great fan of Only Boys Aloud too.

      Rhys Meirion didn’t write it Hywel Gwynfryn wrote the words and Robat Arwyn wrote the music, Rhys Meirion sang it as a tribute for his sister who passed away.

      I am not Welsh. You say your are Welsh, and it means Guardian Angel. I do not understand why when I type Anfonaf Angel into my translator I get "I will send an angel. Why is that?

    • @rhodriwilliams2599
      @rhodriwilliams2599 Před 7 lety +2

      Anfonaf means "I will send". Anfon means send. I am Welsh. This is the translation. "I will send an angel for your protection tonight, I will send an angel to comfort you, the sound of your voice is enough, to dispal all your doughts, I will send an angel to you."
