If you're experiencing a complete lack of electrical power, including no dashboard lights or interior lights turning on when you turn the key, it typically indicates a problem in the electrical system. Here are some potential causes:
1.Dead Battery: The most common cause is a dead or discharged battery. This could be due to leaving lights on, an old battery, or a faulty charging system.
2.Faulty Ignition Switch: If the ignition switch is faulty, it may not be sending power to the electrical components when the key is turned.
3.Blown Fuse: A blown fuse could interrupt power to the dashboard lights and other electrical components. Check the fuse box for any blown fuses and replace them if needed.
4.Faulty Starter Motor: If the starter motor is not functioning correctly, it may not be able to engage and start the engine, resulting in a lack of power to the electrical system.
5.Faulty Alternator: The alternator charges the battery and powers the electrical system when the engine is running. If it's faulty, the battery may not be receiving a charge, leading to a lack of power.
6.Loose or Corroded Battery Connections: Poor connections between the battery terminals and cables can prevent power from flowing properly.
7.Faulty Wiring: There could be a problem with the wiring in the electrical system, such as a short circuit or damaged wires, preventing power from reaching the dashboard lights.

So I have a good question.? I bought a car knowing it was bad. It has an engine that exploded. Not crazy damage guy said he heard a loud noise and it didn’t start back up. Would an engine exploding, cause the car to hVe no power? Or would it be only part of the options you’ve put in the video?
