Hilux not starting - no dashboard lights - problem located

2008 Hilux SR single cab.
Symptoms:
No dashboard light, radio still working.
No starter motor sound just silence when key is turned to engine start.
Faulty starter motor caused a short in the fuse.
Starter replaced, fuse replaced all good.

You are a real savior man. I had the same issue and was cracking my head after checking all the fuses.
