He cameo'ed in each of the Sam Raimi Spider-man movie Franchise that the game was apart. Evil Dead is Sam and Bruce's first movie.

The closest to an A-lister a B-movie star has ever gotten. I think he deserved to get the bigger meatier roles, but he seems genuinely happy to still be talking about Evil Dead. I'll always love Sam Raimi for putting him in everything he's made; remembering who was there at the beginning.

I first knew him as a kid from a show called Briscoe County Jr, then he was on Xena. I was a big fan of his from those. I didn't even know about Evil Dead until I grew up 😂 I don't really like the franchise, but he's one of my favorite actors

I just started watching Ash vs The Evil Dead last night on Netflix for the first time. I blew through the first two seasons in less than 24 hours, laughing my ass off the entire time. I'm a big Bruce Campbell fan, and I cannot believe it took me this long to finally watch the series. It's so good, and bloody as hell!

I met Bruce, Sam Raimi, Peter Jackson and Stuart Gordon all in one day at a Fangoria convention. This was before Raimi and Jackson went from horror convention famous to helming blockbusters. They were all very cool to their fans. Bruce was doing backflips!

Bruce once went into a video rental store in Boulder, CO (The Video Station, now sadly closed) and wrote jokey, arrogant reviews of his own movies on 3x5 index cards, putting them in front of the movies. When the employees found out, they permanently packing taped them to the shelves. What a legend.

Hey, I'm no spring chicken. I've been smoking for 20 years, I can respect a mellow high that lasts all day vs bud that will get you super high. That super high comes at a price, namely the euphoric effects are hard-hitting but don't plateau as nicely. If I can leave the pipe alone for a few days, than on the third day I take a few hits, I'll be out all day.
HigherPlanes Last time I smoked that mutant bud I was watching Scrubs on my PS3 and I couldn't understand a fokin word they were saying. Thought I had smoked myself stupid. So I called my brother in, who was livin with me at the time, to see if it was just me. He grabbed the controller hit a button and everything was cool. I was watching it on like .25 fast foward. Still can't live that one down. LOL
LMAO... I've had plenty of moments like those. That mutant bud will wreck you. I usually go outdoors or play games when I smoke but I've had times when I take a super hit then something catches my eye and I'll be staring at an inanimate object for 30 miunutes.
But remember that they're talking about Jack Nicholson here. A legendary pothead. The book 'Easy Riders to Raging Bulls' (about '70s cinema), goes into detail about just how much weed Jack would smoke before shooting a scene. A lot.
It's definitely much stronger these days than it was back in the early 80's. Our best stuff back then would be considered middle of the road now.
