i have a speech tmr and wathcing this made me even more nervouse than i was ;-;
I absolutely love what you bring to the world. Thank you for helping people step into a better version of themselves - including me.
Thank you, Chris. I appreciate your encouragement.
I find that a big smile right before your presentation also helps... Even if it's not exactly natural, it goes a long way in putting you in a more comfortable state.
Some items re timeliness. When you negotiate a presentation time have the host tell you what time is good for them, don't fall into "what's good for you". Do not show up late then tell your audience you value their time. If you are inclined to apologize for something do it only once and don't endnote it.
I almost died laughing at the technology part, haha. You nailed it! Biggest sign of a lack of preparation is fiddling around because of easily foreseeable technical glitches.
I'm glad it hit the target.
I see these three opening mistakes often. You made it fun to watch! Great sense of humor.
Glad you like them!
Thanks for the tips 😊
Direct and to the point. That was really quick and useful. In actuality, I've seen so many people chat about tangents before a meeting that the discussion runs on for another 5 minutes or so.
Right to the point. That was super quick and helpful. In reality, I have seen so many talk about tangents before the meeting that drags for another 5 or so minutes before the actual meeting starts.
Great tips. Man, I hate when people start with these bad things. THANK YOU
So helpful! You're the best in this area. Respectful knowledgeable and professional
I appreciate that!
Thank you! Been recently healing from anxiety but like i still kind of have it lol. I have stage fright and doing a presentation today or monday Tuesday ;-;
You can do it!
Yes Lord! it is so annoying when they do the fiddling around. I don't know if it's to buy time for the late arrivals. We need to be considerate for the people who did arrive on time
Great tips Alex! Love your videos, keep up the great work!
Yo! Bennett! Great to hear from you. Thank you for the encouragement.

I was thinking of doing all of those before I start my presentation hahaha
I'm glad you saw this in time, Kelly!!! Ha.
He's funny I was laughing and missed the point😂. No, I really didn't. He's good.
Your piece is a marvel; much like a book that was a marvel in its narrative and depth. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers

Funny :) Thanks
😂😂😂that’s me is it getting warm in here or that’s just me.
Awesome tips, Alex! Especially No. 3. If you announce ahead-of-time that you expect your presentation to be sup-par, what signal does that send to the listeners?
So true!
I want to understand professional university presentation
When I saw the title - I knew I would do all these things 😆
Oh, man. I'm sorry to hear that. Well, at least now you know the specifics of what to avoid, James. As they say, that's the first step. You're not alone in this, though. Those are the top 3 for a reason.
@@alexanderlyon thanks Alex. You are exactly right - the first step is being aware 🙂 Love your content.
Haha! Yes 😄
